rishis contemporaries were much bigger stars during his peak ebenthough rishi was also a big star. ranbirs contemporaries aint bigger than ranbir so it will look like ranbir is bigger than rishi.
rishi had many hits solo and multi and much ahead of ranbir in terms of that. ranbirs career aint over yet so lets wait n see.
Salman was super star from his second movie Maine pyar kiya, than sajjan, hum aapke hain kaun, than hum saath saath hain in 1990s only
almost all cinegoers would knows these movies
who knows ranbir movies except a sanju
Even barfi hardly anyone saw
and i am not both ranbir and salman fan
All multi starers with bigger co stars then Sallu.😆
Is this even a question? Rishi had crazy following and was a overnight success. I mean, a generation of kids are named mostly Rishi, Rajesh and Amit for a reason.
Ranbir is decent actor within his box, Rishi was far ahead In both stardom and acting. Rishi was gutsy in approaching his script selection.
Olden days heroes used to do 10 films a year. (Even Khans in 90s). So number of hits or flops will be more. Number of hits cannot be used as a yardstick to compare with current generation stars.
Many of Rishi’s hits are multi starter. He cannot take credit for those hits on his shoulder. Look at the posters of Kabhie Kabhie, Colie, Naseeb. Those posters used to be pasted on the walls to attract audience then (like today’s trailers).
Who is prominent in those posters? How does Rishi appear in them?
Whoever claims his superstardom, how do they forget, he lived in the era of Amitabh Bachchan? His stardom was under the shadow of Big B.
Whether RK is a superstar or not, he is definitely bigger star than Rishi. He is not a B grade hero for any of his contemporaries. (His refusal to act in multistarrers could be because of this insecurity).
