Guys, donβt overthink this!
Just let your creativity drive you and enjoy the process
I received the PM mentioning the genre.
This is totally unexpected, but will surely give this a try.

@Everyone: don't overthink it, just let your words flow, no need to stress just remember to have fun π
That's some comfort.... But for now? Panic mode on...
This will be fun... The genre is something I have never attempted so ought to be interesting.

Aww don't panic!
@ Everyone: Remember, blurbs are short description what the story will cover but you don't need the whole plot, just an idea, my only advice to you all right now is focus only on Round 1 and not think about what Round 2 will bring.
I am happy with my genre!π€©

Hey - apologies for not clarifying what a drabble contest is. Mostly writers are aware of the different terminologies for fiction writing so we just assumed everyone wanting to take part would know.
Definition of drabble - Drabble : (typically within 100 words) A drabble is a short work of fiction of ideally one hundred words in total. It is for testing the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space. (More info on different types of writing can be found here)
I hope this helps.

Unquote ...
typically Drabble is supposed to be 100 words, now it has become 200 ... ok no problem ...... I just want to ask if word count will remain around 100 or will it increase again in next round ?? Will it become > 200 words ??
Round 1 seems cool! Looks like I'm fiinally finally into an amazing, creative contest that's equally fun.π
Oh god, this is tough π³
