Definitely a rich man’s privilege at this time...We all got to read news after news how the sons and daughters are not able to attend their own parents’ final rites.....However, I will just let it pass- don’t have it in me to complain...:(

He did not. Only Abhishek was present.

even the first picture posted by ponymo was not of Abhishek and Ash. It’s Armaan Jain and the girl who attended with her..his wife maybe ? Just saw on tv and pics on insta.

But I think In one of the pics I see AB SR sitting with Abhishek in the backseat. Maybe he changed his mind and did not attend. News channels have only mentioned Abhishek from the Bachchan family.

Did they get a movement pass? On what basis was it given? They are not even related to Rishi.

Looks like lockdown rules are only for ordinary citizens and not celebrities.

Even Saif and Kareena have visited them.

Said kareena  still makes sense because he is kareena's blood relative

Why did ash abhi go 🙄 now they will be risking amitabh. Jaya is in delhi i guess

Agree, celebs and people in power get all privileges both in happy and sad times, be it weddings or funerals

Compare that to a common citizen, they get zilch.

Sad but true

Rohit Dhawan was also there.

Rishi had said Rohit and Abhishek were like his sons.

Just yesterday none of them showed up citing the excuse of rules but today suddenly they found a way to be there....It all ultimately narrows down to how much you want to be there- at least for these rich and privileged!

At this point, Aaradhya is less of a person and more of Aishwarya's third kidney so for her to break lockdown rules is highly irresponsible as a mother. Children fatalities are rarer yes but they can easily get infected and that's equally bad. As a mother, she should have shown restraint and stayed at home nomatter what.

I understand absolute necessity but this ain't it. AT ALL.

Abhishek toh... Whatever.

Guess #BestCMoftheworld is handing out passes to visit Rishi. One representative from each family could have been it.

can see that the whole world will be irresponsible but your venom is directed only to one person.....any personal equation with him ??

OT : highly irresponsible of Abhishek and Aishwarya to do so after advertising themselves as the most nobel citizens of India... yes the government has acted wronly, but i wont blame just one person....

can i put my narrow minded thoughts here and say that Rishi was an insider, sort of Bollywood's first family member.....compared to Irrfan who was an outsider and made it out of sheer talent..... sad but true i guess

edited to add :

I am not bashing Kapoors......just a thought that crossed my mind at bollywood's pettiness (dont know what i was thinking, mentioning it at such moments)......wont delete the comment, but lets not discuss it more

Bachchans are Kapoor' extended family. His funeral looks star studded coz all of his family and friends are well known and are in showbizz. There is no need to make comparisons with Irrfan'. His close friends and well wishers were there for him too many of them are not very known celebs so it looks like no one cared but thats nit true. Sad that his daughter whom he was very close to could not bid him a final goodbye 😟 And also Rishi was the only one who voiced his angst when not many attended Vinod Khanna's funeral... In normal circumstances Rishi would've been celebrated in his final journey like how Kapoors celebrated the journey' of Raj, Shammi n Shashi 💔
