Sanjay comes back to Hastinapur and shares Yudhisthir’s message for Dhritarashtra .. that they were ready for both war n peace n were waiting for Dhritarashtra’s orders.
Dhritarashtra calls Vidur n decides to discuss Yudhishthira’s options at Raj Sabha . But Vidur requests Dhritarashtra to give the Indraprastha back to Pandavas ...and to give up Putra moh .....or he will never be able to forgive Maharaj.
Next day at Raj Sabha of Hastinapur Sanjay shares everything that Pandavas have asked him to pass on to Maharaj Dhritarashtra and Duryodhan.
on hearing this Karn n Duryodhan get enraged . Bheeshm then reminds them how they lost Viraat battle at the hands of Arjun alone , how Duryodhan was rescued by Pandavas when Gandharvas had imprisoned him. Dronacharya supports Bheeshm n praises Pandava’s strengths , and warns Dhritarashtra will see death of all Kauravas if they battled ... this enrages Duryodhan n he insults Dronacharya. Finally Dhritarashtra calms Duryodhan n Dronacharya... finally Dhritarashtra states he had two options war with Pandavas or Hand over Indraprastha to them .
Duryodhan refuses to hand over Indraprastha back . Dhritarashtra regrets he had to accept war even though he could see the impending disaster befalling on all his sons.
In Karn’s mahal ..shakuni , Dushasan, Duryodhan meet n Shakuni suggests an easy means to win the war . Vasudev Krishn has very powerful army ..none could defeat his Narayani Sena ... he asks Duryodhan to go to Krishn n request him to support Kuru Sena at war .
At Dwarika both Arjun & Duryodhan reach to seek help from Krishn n he assures of helping both .
Krishn asks them to choose between the two ..his Narayani Sena on one side and unarmed Krishn on the other . Arjun chooses Krishn and Duryodhan is happy to get Narayani Sena .
Arjun is very happy to have Krishn on his side n requests him to become his sarathi during this battle . Krishn assures him.
Shakuni is displeased about Krishn supporting Pandavas ... he states Duryodhan has made a mistake.Krishn was Mayavi . This would cost them highly at war.
At Kampilya Nagri Pandavas n their supporting kings want war but Balram n Krishn to avoid war ...Krishn offers to become Shanti doot n try n persuade Hastinapur to avoid war n hand over Indraprastha to Pandavas.

Draupadi is skeptical about Krishn visiting Hastinapur as Shanti doot as she feared his insult by Dushasan, Duryodhan n Shakuni . Krishn says he would not mind insult if that’s the price he had to get for Getting Indraprastha back for Pandavas . Draupadi can’t forget Dushasan’s dirty touch, Karn calling her veshya and Duryodhan asking her to sit on his thigh . She vouches Pandavas would avenge her insult . Krishn assures her , he could feel her insult n see her open tresses .
shikhandi comes to meet Krishn n wants war , Krishn says Drupad, Drishtadyumna also wanted war . Shikhandi is waiting for his revenge from Bheeshm.
At Hastinapur Vidur tells Bheeshm about Krishn coming as Shanti doot , there was still a chance of avoiding war. Bheeshm says Krishn was just coming to make it clear that Pandavas were still keeping peace offers open only Duryodhan was not agreeing . Krishn was only seeking permission from elders to begin war.
Duryodhan openly isn’t against Krishn . Bheeshm n Vidur are exasperated by Duryodhan’s actions pushing him towards his own disastrous future.
Later Bheeshm tells Karn that he was Suta Putra by birth but Kshatriya by karm but he faced defeat when ever he confronts ted Pandavas . Bheeshm tells him the reason behind this was Karn was supporting the adharm side . Both Bheeshm n Karn express ups they were at this juncture incapable of changing sides n go over to side of Dharma n join Pandavas.
Krishn arrives at Hastinapur n he is received with great pomp n ceremony . All pay their respects to to him except Duryodhan n Dushasan . Dhritarashtra gifts him a decorated cow . Krishn accepts with grace n declines Rajsi bhoj n chooses to eat at Vidur’s house where his Kunti Biw was residing
Kunti meets Krishn n shares her grief, he wa to the war to take place n Pandavas to take revenge for the wrong done to them and Draupadi’s insult .
