Navya goes in kitchen

LOCHAN- navya bhabhi...cake...

Lochan offers cake to navya while she politely denied. He left from there and anant enter. Navya looks at him and he moves towards her

ANANT- you ok?

She smile and wipes a small tear

NAVYA- ya... I am...

They stood there silent for some time

NAVYA- dadi really misses dadaji...

Anant nodded in agreement. They had lack of words to speak

NAVYA- by the way... Nimisha liked the dress... Aren't it? She looks pretty in it

Said navya smiling.. Anant smile at her too

ANANT- ofcourse. Uske bhabhi ki choice jo thi

Said anant looking at navya while navya nods her head in disbelief

NAVYA- anant....

ANANT- okok... Sorry

Anant apologize when he saw navya in disbelief. They laugh looking at each other. At hall, Sugandha offers cake to the guest

SUGANDHA- please feel comfortable Mrs dixit

Sugandha smile at the guest and indicate lochan to serve them. Meeta came there

MEETA- Sugandha... Ye gifts me room me rakhwa deti hu..

Said meeta to Sugandha while she nods in yes. Meeta left from there. Mrs dixit and Mrs Ghosh looks at each other in surprised manner

MRS DIXIT- sugandha... If I'm not wrong. She was your son's mother in law right??

Sugandha smile lightly and nods in agreement. Mrs dixit gave a shocking look at Mrs Ghosh

MRS GHOSH- but Sugandha.. humne to suna tha ki... I mean... Anant and navya to... 1 sal pehele hi....

Mrs Ghosh stopped while Sugandha bows down saying nothing

NAVYA- you heard it right aunty

All the three ladies looks aside from where navya enters. She did a gesture of namaste to them while they smile lightly at her

NAVYA- aapne sahi suna.. Anant and I... We are separated. Hamara 1 sal pehle divorce ho chuka he...

Mrs dixit and Mrs Ghosh looks at each other. While Sugandha looks at their expression

NAVYA- I can understand the reason of your surprise. Aap soch rahe honge separated hone ke bad bhi me yaha, mere parents yaha.. kaise?? 

Asked Navya smiling lightly. The two ladies wanted to say yes but couldn't. 

SUGANDHA- navya.... Beta....

Sugandha tried to stop her but navya interrupts her

NAVYA- it's ok maa... I really am comfortable to answer this

She smiles at Sugandha and again turns to the other ladies 

NAVYA- aunty, 3 sal pehle meri aur anant ki arrange marriage hui thi. Tab Mera rishta sirf anant se nahi uski puri family se bana tha. 

Said navya keeping her hand on Sugandha's shoulder

NAVYA- 1 sal pehle hamara divorce hua he. But separate me aur anant hue he.. hamari families nahi.. rishta Mera aur anant ka tuta he.. Mera aur Bajpayee family ka nahi

Answered navya smiling. Both the ladies looks at each other and then at navya

NAVYA- I know this all may be weird for you... But not for us. Anant and I are still friends. Or I can say we are best friends. And we are happy like this

Sugandha looks sad at her. Suddenly nimisha came there

NIMISHA- bhabhi... Ranbir and Ritika has came

Navya excuses herself and left from there. Sugandha looks at the ladies with a light smile

MRS DIXIT- I'm sorry Sugandha. We didn't want to hurt you

SUGANDHA- nahi nahi... Please don't be... Bacche jo decision lete he... Wo hume manna hi hota he...

Said Sugandha smiling sadly. Mrs Ghosh tried to pacify her

MRS GHOSH- but still Sugandha... I mean its your personal matter. But aisa rishta..?? It's not acceptable to the society.. why aren't they together?

Asked Mrs Ghosh while Sugandha looks away trying not to answer this question. She excused herself and leaves from there keeping the two ladies to talk amongst themselves. Anant who was standing at the distance heard their conversation and nods in disbelief.

Navya moves towards Ranbir and Ritika and hugs them.

NAVYA- thank you so much for coming..

RITIKA- ha bilkul... Pehle ye formalities kar le...

She said in a pout while Navya giggle at her. 

RANBIR- where's Anant?

Asked Ranbir to navya. She turns around to look for anant when he comes near them..

ANANT- hey buddy...

Anant and Ranbir hugs each other. And so as Anant and Ritika.

ANANT- so...how was your honeymoon?

Asked anant in a wink while ranbir looks at Ritika who gave a whatever look at his question.

RITIKA- shadi ke 2 sal bad kya honeymoon? It was just his office trip..

Said Ritika in a pout while Ranbir gave a look at Anant and Navya.

RANBIR- I had told her earlier only. That I have to go for office work in Shimla. Still she asked me to take her. Bore to hona hi tha...

Said Ranbir while Ritika looks at him in an anger..

RITIKA- you all boys are same...

RANBIR- kitno ko try kar chuki he aap ma'am?

Ritika hits his shoulder when he said this while Anant and Navya looks at them laughing. They both looks at each other for a while. 

RITIKA- guys...

Ritika interrupts them and they look at her. 

RITIKA- where is dadi..??

NAVYA- come... I'll take you

RANBIR- ya ok.. I'll meet her later...

Ranbir said and started talking with Anant. Navya and Ritika leaves from there to dadi...

RITIKA- dadi...

Ritika moves towards her and takes her blessings.

RITIKA- wish you a many happy birthday

She said handing a gift to her. Dadi caresses her head.

DADI- god bless you beta..

Suddenly someone called Navya.

NAVYA- dadi... Me ati hu..

She excused herself and goes from there.

RITIKA- to dadi...tell me... Kaisa raha aapka din?

Asked Ritika smiling while dadi looks sad. 

RITIKA- what happened dadi?

Asked Ritika in concern. Dadi gave her a light smile

DADI- kya batau beta? I just wish that Anant and Navya were together..

Ritika smile lightly at her. Dadi looks at Navya working from distance.

DADI- pata nahi kya hogaya he.. they two are happy like this but not together..

RITIKA- aisa nahi he dadi... They are not happy now also. They just pretend to..

Said Ritika while dadi nods in agreement.

DADI- kash ye dono firse ek hojaye...

RITIKA- don't worry dadi.. bhagwan ne chaha to aisa bhi hoga...

Ritika gave her a hope while dadi nods in yes. They look at Anant and Navya who were attending guests together...

Navya was in her room working on her laptop. She had a sip of her coffee when her cellphone rang. She looks at the caller to find anant's name. She picks the call

NAVYA- hello...

ANANT- hey... Busy?

Navya removes her specs and keeps her laptop aside.

NAVYA- not much... Bolo..

ANANT- Navya actually... I just called to apologise..

Navya looks confused. While he waited for her to speak

NAVYA- kyu? Regarding what?

Anant search for words to express. He gulped and continued.

ANANT- wo... Party me... Whatever mom's friends said to you... I mean... I... I'm ... Just... sorry...

Navya smile at him. She gets up from her table and moves towards the window

NAVYA- come on anant.. hume adat he in sab chizo ki.. you know that . I don't mind at all...

Anant smile at her. 

NAVYA- by the way . Did mom said anything to you?

ANANT- no no... She said nothing.. mene hi tum logo ki bate sun li thi...

NAVYA- tumhari ye chupke se bate sunne wali adat kab jayegi anant...bad manners na...

Navya complaints nodding her head. Anant looks down scratching his head.

ANANT- come on navya. It was unintentional.. I didn't want to hear those and you know that...

Navya smile at his explanation..

NAVYA- ya baba I know.. relax...

Anant smile at her. He searches for words to speak.

ANANT- so... Office tomorrow?

NAVYA- meeting... Wish me luck for the presentation..

ANANT- you are going to rock...

Navya laughs at him while he just gave a smile..

NAVYA- anant.. if you don't mind.. may I just get back to my work? We'll talk tomorrow?

Said Navya hoping to not hurt Anant while he just had a light smile.

ANANT- ok no problem. Continue your work.. see you...

NAVYA- ya . See you...

Both of them disconnected the call. Anant moves towards his cupboard and took out an album. He moves towards the bed resting himself to have a look at those special memories. He took out the first page of the album where "Anant and Navya" was written. He opens the next page to find two individual photos, one of anant and other of navya. It was the photos of the day when they met for the first time. He witnessed the next page which shows the photograph of entire Bajpayee and Mishra family. He smile looking at everyone. He looks at the other side to find his and navya's picture. They both were sitting beside each other while looking straight smiling when Ranbir have took their picture. Anant smile looking at it and remembers that day...

*****Flashback*****

Before 3 years, Bajpayee family had visited Mishra house. Deepak and meeta welcome them..

DEEPAK- ayiye Mr Bajpayee... Welcome..

OM- thank you so much Mr Mishra. Please meet my wife.. Sugandha..

Sugandha greeted Deepak and meeta doing namaste. 

OM- ye he meri choti beti... Nimisha..

Sugandha indicates her to take blessings and she followed her mother.

MEETA- khush raho beta.. 

Meeta caresses her head while nimisha smile at her..

MEETA- anant..??

Meeta ask about him while Sugandha smile at her .

SUGANDHA- yes he's coming... Wo apne friend ke sath dusri gadi me araha he..

Deepak and meeta nods at this.

DEEPAK- aap ayiye na..

They gets inside and settled at the sofa in living area. Gaurav too came there greeting everyone.

DEEPAK- ye hamare damad he.. gaurav..

Gaurav took Om and Sugandha's blessings.

OM- khush raho beta..

Navita came there carrying tea and snacks. She too took everyone's blessings

MEETA- ye navya ki badi behen... Navita..

NAVITA- namaste...

Everyone greeted each other smiling. They were having their normal talks..

DEEPAK- I hope you managed to find the address..

OM- of course Deepak ji.. you know what, baccho ka aur internet ka bohot acha combo he aajkal.. they have every solution..

Everyone laughs at this while nimisha pouts at her father indicating him to not pull her leg. Sugandha interrupt..

SUGANDHA- where is navya?

Meeta nods and indicates navita to bring navya. Navita goes inside in navya's room. Dressed in lime color suit, navya was sitting on her bed waiting to go out.

NAVITA- navi... chal... they are calling you..

Navya smile at her lightly. She gets up and navita looks at her from top to bottom checking if anything has to be done more.. she adjusted navya's hair.

NAVYA- uffo dii... let it be na...

Navita nods at her in disbelief..

NAVITA- navya... tumhe dekhne ladke wale aye he.. please act normal..

NAVYA- dii.. I'm normal only... You people are over excited..

Said Navya smiling while Navita rolls her eyes. 

NAVYA- acha tell me na... Anant is here?

Navita smirks at her while navya waited for her to speak..

NAVYA- what?

NAVITA- badi jaldi ho rahi he.. anant se milne ki..

Navita teases her while navya pouts.

NAVYA- kyu nahi hogi? Meri shadi ki bat chal rahi he.. first time someone has came to meet me.. thoda excitement to hoga hi na.. I mean wo kaisa hoga.. is he the one who I want...

Said Navya thinking while Navita smile at her. She holds her shoulder

NAVITA- relax navi.. you don't have to worry much. Believe in maa papa.. look at me.. meri bhi to arrange marriage hui thi. Ma papa pe trust kiya and I got someone like gaurav in my life.. you also just relax and believe in your fate..

Navya smile at her nodding her head.

NAVITA- ab chale? Warna mummy andar ajayengi...

Both the girls giggles. Navita brought navya with her outside to meet everyone. Navya takes blessings of Om and Sugandha. She searches for Anant but couldn't find him. 

SUGANDHA- aao beta.. sit here..

She sat besides Sugandha. She looks at navita in questioning look while navita smile at her assuring that Anant is coming.

NIMISHA- hi... I'm nimisha..

Navya looks at her other side where nimisha was sitting. 

NAVYA- hii..

Navya smile at her. 

NIMISHA- agar apka aur bhaiya ka sab jam gaya na... To aap meri bhabhi hojayengi..

Said nimisha winking at Navya. While navya giggle at her. Suddenly they heard doorbell ringing and navita goes to open it. She opens the door to find Anant and Ranbir standing.

NAVITA- hi.. welcome..

Both the boys gets inside. Anant and Navya looks at each other for the first time. 

OM- this is my son.. Anant..

Anant smile looking at everyone and greeted them. He stands infront of Navya while she gets up from her seat. 

ANANT- hii..

NAVYA- hello...

They both smile looking at each other. 

MEETA- aao beta.. have a seat..

Anant sits infront of Navya. 

ANANT- I'm sorry I got late. 

DEEPAK- are it's absolutely fine.. no problem.. 

ANANT- by the way.. he's my friend.. Ranbir..

Ranbir too greeted everyone and smile at navya while she reverts his smile back. 

DEEPAK- so anant.. directly office se arahe ho kya?

Asked Deepak looking at Anant in his office wears. Anant smile at him.

ANANT- yes uncle. Actually I had an important meeting. Couldn't missed that.. 

OM- hamara pura business ab Anant sambhalne laga he. I'm thinking to plan my retirement soon..

Said om while Anant smile getting embarrassed. All were having a normal talks while Anant and Navya keep taking glances at each other. Navita looks at both of them and then indicates Gaurav to speak. He nods at her.

GAURAV- ehm.. papa.. what I was thinking is... Let Anant and Navya talk with each other alone..

Said Gaurav to Deepak. Navya smile hearing this while Anant looks at om. Deepak too looks at Om for his approval.

OM- ya sure Deepak ji.. let the kids talk..

Om indicates Anant to go with navya. Both of them gets up from their seat and went inside to have some alone time...

Navya brought Anant in her room. She ask him to sit at a couch. 

NAVYA- please sit...

Anant smile and settled down while Navya sat beside him. They both searches for words to speak. They look at each other, smile and again looks down finding words to speak. Finally Anant broke the silence.

ANANT- awkward know?

Navya smile at him and nods her head.

NAVYA- ya.. actually this is my first time.. I mean.. ye ladke dekhna wagera... I'm not used to it..

Said Navya feeling embarrassed while Anant laughs at her lightly.

ANANT- oh.. then I can be comfortable. As I'm experienced.. 

Navya looks at him questioning while he gave her a smile.

ANANT- this is my third time..

NAVYA- oh really..?? Then please make me comfortable.. I seriously don't know what to say in these situations..

Accepted Navya telling him what is in her heart while he smile at her.

ANANT- please be comfortable and relax... We are not here to take each other's exam right??

Navya nods at him agreeing. Again they went silent. Anant sighed and continued.

ANANT- ok then.. let's start like this.. hii I'm Anant Bajpayee..

Said Anant moving him hand forward. Navya also does the same meeting her hand with his.

NAVYA- I'm Navya Mishra..

They leaves each other and smile.

ANANT- so.. you are a student?

NAVYA- I've just completed my studies. And currently I'm waiting for my call letter..

Anant gets happy hearing it.

ANANT- oh wow. You got a job. Congratulations

NAVYA- thank you.. 

ANANT- it means you're not interested in your father's business.. I mean.. I hope I can ask this...

Navya giggle and nods her head saying yes. While Anant smile at her

NAVYA- it's not about interest but.. my stream is different.. that's why I want to work somewhere else..

ANANT- nice..

Anant gave an impressive look while navya smile. 

NAVYA- aabb... May I ... I mean.. may I ask you one question.... 

Anant scrunched his eyebrows.

ANANT- of course. I think hum usi ke liye yaha akele bethe he. So that we get to know everything about each other..

Navya looks confused at him

NAVYA- everything about each other? First meeting me? Is it possible?

Asked navya smiling while Anant didn't say anything just giving her a smile.

ANANT- what you wanted to ask?

NAVYA- oh ya.. I was just asking about the girls you met before me.. I mean.. what went wrong?

Ask Navya waiting to hear the reason. Anant smile at her and sighed

ANANT- you know navya.. sometimes you just get a feeling that it's not going to work.. mere sath bhi aisa hi hua.. pehele dono bar jab ladki dekhne gaya to positivity wali feeling nahi ayi.. bas.. baki koi reason nahi he..

Navya raised her eyebrow and look other side while Anant looks at her confused.

ANANT- you were expecting something different or what?

NAVYA- no no.. aisa kuch nahi he. I told you I'm not experienced in this..

Anant nods at her. While she continued.

NAVYA- what you are feeling regarding this now??

Anant looks startled at her direct question.

NAVYA- I'm sorry if it was too direct.. its ok if you're not willing to answer.

Anant just gave her a smile. 

ANANT- I'll not lie to you... Seriously.. this time I'm getting that "positivity wala feeling"..

Said Anant smiling while Navya looks startled. 

NAVYA- seriously?

Anant nods his head while Navya smile at him.

NAVYA- ok then... I'll wait for me to get that "positivity wala feeling".

Said Navya actioning her fingers at the word. 

NAVYA- I hope you don't mind..

ANANT- not at all.. because I know that you need time to decide. As you said, first meeting is not enough..

Navya again looks surprised at him.

NAVYA- strange.. how you came to know what I feel.. I mean.. we just met some time before..

Asked Navya while Anant smile at her.

ANANT- mere liye first meeting hi kafi he.. to know the person..

Answered Anant looking at her eyes. Navya stare him without saying anything. 

ANANT- ehm.. to chale?

Said Anant breaking their eye lock. Navya nods her head and both of them goes in the hall where everyone were present..

Everyone were waiting for Anant and Navya. As they witness them coming, they looks excited. Sugandha ask Anant with her eyes while he smile

ANANT- we both had a talk but... We need more time to come to a final decision..

Said Anant looking at Navya while she smile. Everyone looks at each other

ANANT- both of us request you all that please allow us to have more meetings so that we can decide about this alliance..

Anant looks at Om requesting him while he nods his head. Navya too looks at Deepak while he smiles at her.

DEEPAK- Om ji... I hope .. you don't mind..

OM- not at all Deepak ji... Afterall they have to live with each other forever.. let them take their time..

Navya became happy hearing this. Anant looks at Ranbir and indicates him to take his phone to capture the picture. 

ANANT- ehm.. rishta hoga ya nahi wo to bad ki bat he.. but.. you are the first "positivity wala feeling" wali ladki for me.. so can we have a picture together?

Whispers Anant at Navya. She giggled at him

NAVYA- you are too dramatic..

She whispered back at him. He indicates her to sit and both of them sat at a couch. Anant looks at Ranbir and he nods. He takes his phone and captures Anant and navya's photo...

Anant was having a smile looking at the picture. He sighed closing the album..

ANANT- mene to tumhe dekhke hi pasand kar liya tha navya.. that was love at first sight for me... Pyar to aaj bhi karta hu tumse... But... Shayad we are not meant to be together...

He said to himself smiling sadly. He keeps the album at his side table and lean on his bed. He looks at the other side of bed which was empty. It was navya's side when she used to live there.. he smile thinking about her and close his eyes to sleep...

Next day, Anant gets at the dinning table for breakfast. 

ANANT- good morning dadi...

DADI- good morning bete..

Dadi lovingly caresses his back. Anant got busy in his phone when Sugandha brings juice for him.

SUGANDHA- anant.. breakfast ke time no phone.. maa tell him na..

Dadi nods and indicates Anant to keep his phone aside. Anant smile at her and then looks at Sugandha.

ANANT- meri pyari mom.. I'll do the same what you say...

Sugandha smile at him lightly. She gave him a glass of juice.

SUGANDHA- it is not followed always..

Anant stops and looks at her. Dadi looks at Anant knowing that he have understood what Sugandha wants to say..

ANANT- are maa.. where is papa and nimmi...?

Asked Anant changing the topic. Sugandha nods in disbelief. 

SUGANDHA- your papa had gone to office.. he has some important work.. I think you are aware of this..

ANANT- are ha.. correct... And nimmi..??

SUGANDHA- room me he..

Said Sugandha in a disbelief. She goes inside the kitchen to bring the breakfast. Anant looks at dadi..

ANANT- what happened to mom today?

DADI- kuch nahi.. she's just little worried..

Anant scrunched his eyebrow looking confused.

ANANT- why?

DADI- both her kids doesn't listen to her.. that's why..

Said dadi in a taunt while Anant pout. 

DADI- you know na nimmi is searching for job.. so tomorrow is her interview. She's preparing for that..

Anant nods listening to her. Sugandha came and serves Anant

ANANT- wow... Aloo paratha.. 

Anant became excited. He takes Sugandha's hands in his and kissed her

ANANT- maa ke hath ka paratha matlab.. jannat...

Sugandha smile at him. He gets up and side hugs his mother.

ANANT- maa... Aap na hamesha smile karte achi lagti he.. please smile..

SUGANDHA- when my kids are happy then only I can become happy..

She caresses his face. Anant smile at her and kissed her forehead.
