Dronacharya promises to make Arjun the best dhanurdhar in this world .
One day while training they come across a barking dog ..soon the dog is silenced by a shower of arrows .
Dronacharya n Arjun n Pandavas are impressed
Dronacharya and his disciples arrive at a hut where they meet Eklavya who was a dhanurdhar of awesome skills .Dronacharya asks him who was his guru . Eklavya reveals he had made Dronacharya his Guru n created a mud statue of his n used to train in front of him also secretly follow Dronacharya’s instructions as he trained Arjun n Pandavas .
Dronacharya states if he considered him his guru he demands a Guru dakshina. Eklavya is ready to give up what ever Giri demanded . Dronacharya demands the thumb of his right hand . Eklavya chops off his thumb n gives it to his guru .
Dronacharya then explains why he was training Ashwatthama even though he was not shatriya . He was uttaradhikari of Dronacharya but the sarva Shreshtha dhanurdhar was Arjun declares Guru Dronacharya.
unknown to Dronacharya ....Parashuram was training Karn . This was the last person Parashuram trained after Ganga Putra Bhishm .
Years pass by and the training is completed ..
At Sandipani Muni ashram .. Krishn and Balram are all grown up . Krishn is asked by Guru to depart for Mathura ... Krishn refuses to leave without giving Guru dakshina .
Krishn n Balram offer his guru rare and exquisite precious stones and Panchajanya Shankh .. Guru asks Krishn to blow it and Krishn sounds the shank n it herald the beginning of a new era .
Dronacharya reaches Hastinapur palace and informs Bhishm n Vidur about the completion of training by the princes . Bhisham n Vidur announce huge amount of riches ... gold n precious stones n palaces n few villages to be given to Dronacharya as Guru dakshina for training princes ... but both Vidur n Bhishm gets shocked as Dronacharya declines this offer n states Guru dakshina is demanded n not gifted ... he states he will demand his gurudakshina when the right time arrives .
Dronacharya then directs Bhishm n Vidur to make arrangements for the Princes’ graduation ceremony ,,dikhsant samaroh
Next scene shows a huge Stadium/ arena is bustling with preparations n activity n has been readied decorations .. one by one the important / chief guests arrive in their own horse drawn chariots .... Queen Kunti accompanies Raj Mata Gandhari . She requests Kunti to be one her eyes for the event n Kunti lovingly agrees as they take their seats ...Dhritarashtra is accompanied by Vidur .. at centre stage ... Raj Guru Kripacharya and Acharya Dronacharya arrive n take their seats .
All wait for the ceremony to begin

The Dikshant Samaroh sees the arrival of the princes one by one ..first to enter is Yudhishthira..followed by Duryodhan, Bheem, Arjun n the rest Pandavas n Kauravas
Kunti admires her sons as well as Kauravas .. she narrates the happenings to Gandhari ... Vidur is standing near Dhritarashtra and narrating the happenings to him .
The crowds cheer the princes ... Bhishm rises to begin the ceremony .. he sounds the conch n signals the Samaroh to begin .
Kripacharya dresses the crowds ... this was no play ground or entertainment .
This Samaroh was to display before the citizens of Hastinapur the capabilities of their Princes ..what all they had learnt at Gurukul . This was an examination for the princes ..
He declares the next item on agenda to begin
Yudhishthira introduces himself before the podium .. He was grandson of Kuntibhoj ..father of Kunti and grand son of Bhishma pitamah .
Ashwathhama announces Yudhishthira had chosen for himself “Bhaala” ..he will defend himself n fight off his younger brothers who ill attack him with various weapons from different directions
As the fight begins Yudhisthira displays supreme power n skill defeating all his attackers .
Dronacharya declares Yudhishthira the best Bhala fighter in the world .
Next comes Bheem who selects Gadaa n Duryodhan confronts him with gadaa ... the fights begins as a challenge n soon escalated into dirty fight between the two brothers ...
Dhritarashtra senses the sounds didn’t seem like a game or competition ... Bhishm gets annoyed at the animosity between brothers .. he orders the competition to be stopped .. Ashwatthama mediates between the fiercely fighting brothers n stops the competition .
next comes Arjun who shows off his skills with bow n arrows . causing lightening , dust storm . blazing fire ... rain etc ..Dronacharya is so proud of Arjun ..
Bhishm, Kunti, Vidur are so pleased to see Arjun’s skills but Shakuni is displeased .
The crowds are impressed ... Dronacharya declares that there was no one on this earth comparable to Arjun ..
right then they hear a voice shouting Dronacharya could not make this declaration until they see his competitors.
Karn states he was better than Arjun ... he was not trained by Dronacharya . He displayed his skill by garlanding Dhtirashtrawith a garland n he senses it smelled of Parashuram .
Dronacharya states this was not a open competition .. it was dikshant Samaroh for royal princes ..who were trained at Dronacharya’s Gurukul .
Karn states this was open arena for any one to fight .
Vidur states dwand yudh could happen between equals .. prince could fight a prince ..a king could fight a king ..he asks Karn to declare his family lineage
Karn remains silent ..he states his Dhanush n his skills were his identity .
Vidur states that was good enough for battlefield not for this arena . Here family lineage was required . Karn falls silent .
Bhishm remarks why would any one hesitate from revealing his family ?? kunti identifies her son Karn by his Kavach kundal n gets scared n worried .
Arjun dislikes the pride of Karn n wants to uproot this voice of Dissent. ..
duryodhan expresses his displeasure at the happenings .. he states Bhishma n Vidur n Dronacharya were insulting a dhanurdhar .. he uses his powers to donate his possession ..Angdesh .. to Karn
He declares Karn as the king of Angdesh . He demands Kul guru to arrange coronation of Angraj Karn .
Karn is so indebted to Duryodhan n assures he owed him everything and was ready to lay down his life for Duryodhan .
coronation is arranged .. Karn and Shakuni .. challenge Dronacharya to give reason to prevent Angraj Karn from fighting Arjun .
Arjun. States status was obtained by birth n not by receiving a kingdom in charity.
Asks Karn to be happy n rule his Angdesh n not challenge royal princes .
Duryodhan shouts Arjun was insulting Karn .
As they are about to begin fighting Karna’s father Adhirath arrives . he expresses his happiness on seeing his son as Angraj Karn .
Karn touches his feet n seeks blessings . Dhritarashtra is I formed by Vidur that Karn was Ashirath’s son .
Bheem declares Karn was actually Sutputra ..scheduled cast fellow . He was no match for Arjun .
Duryodhan challenges the Pandavas
Before the argument gets dirty Dronacharya states the sun as about to set n it was against Kshatriya dharma to fight after sunset . He requests for the Samaroh to be ended . Bhishma then blows the conch n ends the Samaroh .
