Rishi Vyas had to come to Hastinapur to advise Satyavati for choosing the correct path ..at this difficult junction of life ....he  comes to his mother Satyavati .... to take her away to Tapovan for penance ... as her duties at Hastinapur we’re completed ..he advised Ambika n Ambalika along with her . He advises her to move out because she would be unable to bear what was going to happen at Hastinapur . He could forsee horrifying future ...she would ne unable to bear what was destined .

Vyas’s advises Dhritarashtra to be aware of the future ...to keep his mind n heart open 

Vyas takes Satyavati , Ambika and Ambalika to Tapovan for the rest of their lives  to live life as sanyasi .Satyavati advises Dhritarashtra that Panduputra we’re the heirs to the the throne and he had to hand over the throne to Pa du Putra as Pandu was the Maharaj of this kingdom ..warns pa du Putra should not have to ask for their rights .

Asks Gandhari to  assist Dhritarashtra in looking after Pandu Putra n the kingdom ..Vidur bids farewell to Satyavani n Vyas .

Bhishm wants to join sanyas with Satyavati but She states his sanya sn penance was to look after the throne of Hastinapur . He was tied to it . He is advised to take care of Kunti n Kunti Putra .

After Satyavati n Ambika Ambalika leave .. Dhritarashtra fondly caresses how royal crown .. he feels attached to it n refuses to give it up . Gandhari advises him not to get attached to throne . Dhritarashtra says Duryodhan did not  love Pandu Putra . Dhritarashtra n Gandhari discuss how Duryodhan hated a Pandu Putra n hated eldest Brother Yudhisthira .Dhritarashtra curses his fate for being born blind ..for being unfit to be king ..but his son Duryodhan was fit but it was bad luck Yudhishthira was elder to him now it was fate that was in the way of Duryodhan becoming king .Gandhari consoles upset Dhritarashtra . Late  at night Gandhari and Kunti meet n Gandhari shares her disappointment that Yudhishthira is elder to Duryodhan ....she was disappointed that the throne would go to Yudhisthir and not to Duryodhan .

Gandhari is scared of her brother Shakuni ..he starts poisoning the minds of Dhritarashtra n Duryodhan .
Bhishm shares his worries with Vidur regarding the loss of moral values n ideals and dishonesty on part of Duryodhan n Dhritarashtra n their growing hatred for Pandu Putra , their ambitions of usurping the kingdom from Panduputra .

Bhishm asks Vidur to escort the Panduputra to Guru Kripacharya’s ashram for further studies .

He goes to meet his mother Ganga and shares how Duryodhan had become greedy for the throne n over ambitious n proud . He was helpless n could give nothing but blessings tk Panduputra . Ganga consoles him Bhishm .

Rajniti n Rajdharm are taught by Kripacharya to Pandu Putra and Duryodhan ... 

kripacharya advises them n specially Duryodhan , how Yudhishthira was the eldest and deserved special respect by all brothers ..but Duryodhan accepts it with pinch of salt ... Duryodhan feel he deserved that place instead of Yudhishthira.

Pandavas n Kauravas get education n training at Kripacharya Muni ashram . They have daily confrontations and fights n arguments between them and Duryodhan’s hatred for Pandavas grows with time . 
One  day Yudhisthir Complains to Vidur about the animosity between the Pandavas n Kauravas . Vidur advises them to face the Kauravas bravely .. they had to learn to face opposition and confrontation ....how will he face opposition / enemies at war ?? 
Yudhisthir thanks. Vidur for his advise n assures he will keep it in mind . 
Shakuni on the other hand keeps poisoning the mind of Duryodhan . Gives him idea of poisoning .

During playing at Gurukul Duryodhan poisons Bheem with Snake poison mixed in kheer ....Bheem consumes it unknowingly and falls asleep . Duryodhan n his brother Dushasan push him into the Ganges .

Bheem drowns n floats away .. Nag Raj’s guards spot him n bite him . Their bite neutralises the poison .

Bheem wakes up n puts up a fight . He is taken to Nag Raj

Nag Raj is very happy to meet Bheem who was Kunti putra . He was Uncle to Kunti .

He offers Bheem Somras .. it is very powerful n each bowl gives the person power of 10 elephants . Bheem relishes it so much that he consumes several bowls of it . He is sent off .

At Gurukul Pandavas miss Bheem 

On returning to Palace Kunti is worried about Bheem not returning from Gurukul .she shares her worries with Gandhari n Dhritarashtra . He orders soldiers to go looking for missing Bheem . Tension filled moments at palace as Pandavas n Kunti n Gandhari worry for Bheem .

Soon Bheem returns and every one is relieved . He narrates to every one his experiences . Duryodhan is very surprised to see him back n filled with jealous rage at the failing of his plans .

He is even more furious on learning he was given somras by Nagraj and he had returned all the more powerful .. Pandavas are very happy with Bheem’s return and getting more powerful. Pandavas have argument over retaliating Duryodhan  for poisoning Bheem . Yudhisthir calms his angry brothers n asks them not to stoop to Duryodhan’s levels .
