Will Deepika gain professionally if 83 works?

I know she has a small role in 83...just 5 or 6 scenes, as she herself said. However, will the movie's success do anything for her career? Will it help revive interest in her box-office wise? And more importantly, will it help in living down the failure of Chapaak?

No, I dont think it will do much unless she makes an impact in her few scenes which is difficlt given the genre of the film. I dont think her characterization will be strong enough to do this. She will benefit from shakuns films without a doubt and her other upcoming films.

Having a film with ranveer does help attract attention to them as a couple. So off screen it will be the usual. She will spark interest on her pairing with ranveer the most. And while this is happening, I am sure the rumors of Alia-Ranbir will get even stronger and so will their payed "spottings"
