Having made such mess of rejuvenating an iconic show is the production  house whose treasured baby it was feel any remorse for cheating the diehard Sanjivani fans?

It all started with a bang ..and loads of positivity all around.Even the TRPs were outstanding.

So what exactly happened?

In my limited reasoning I think it was the script writers to blame as the story line became increasingly
lame taking the viewers off watching a steadily sinking and mediocre show.As the trps fell the Channel came in and started interfering ..dictating even the strange story. With that the main stay of Sanjivani ...Dr Shashank quit the show and some of the prime attractions in the star cast eg Gurdeep Kohli,Sayantani Ghosh,Rohit Roy followed suit.

A leap was organised  with a new protagonist ...actually two...Gaurav Chopra as a male lead & more important Nescafe as the financier. This was supposed to breathe life in to a dying show  as Sanjivani was a emblem in the Cinevista repertoire.Sadly the decisions were not in the right direction. The script was again pathetic .The entire effort was amateurish.GC was  always on lecture mode and a show cannot survive where the lead is always moralising ...long boring lectures. To add to the viewers woes the original male lead Dr Sid is brought back probably to create suspense ...but he actually increased the boredom as he is shown first in coma, then a prolonged stretch in a hospital bed ...altogether the worst script writing imaginable in a show wanting to entertain.

So good the agony ended. But tragic that it has ended with such a sour taste and Sanjivani destroyed for us.

Will Cinevista do something to repair this damage ever?
