It was party time for the Roy Chaudhary's as it was Soudamini's engagement. The Roy Chaudhary's had always treated Soudamini as their family member and always loved her more as a daughter. So, it was her engagement and the Roy Chaudhary's had planned to keep the Chaudhary Mansion the venue for the engagement.
Bondita and Anirudh and returned from Calcutta and London (respectively) the last day. They had met after more than 5 years. Yet their meeting didn't go well because they didn't get enough time to catch up with each other.
As usual, Bondita was busy checking out the decorations when Anirudh slyly removed Bondita's hair clip and vanished from there. Bondita didn't even know about this mischief. Suddenly her father-in-law came to inspect whether everything was going on well. He found Bondita roaming in the house with open hair.
He shouted at her "Bondita beta, khule baalon mein achi lag rahi hai!"
"Thank you sasur ji!"said busy Bondita.
After a second she thought... what?? She was looking pretty in open hair?? Sasur ji said OPEN HAIR? But she did comb and hair and tied her hai? Also she never roamed with open hair!!! She thought what made her Sasur Ji give her such a compliment!! Then she got to know she was really roaming around with open hair!!! But how did this happen?
Bondita soon searched for her hair clip. She asked all the servants to help her find her clip. Her Sasu Ma came to her and exclaimed "Jai Ma Durga!! Bondita tum agar aise ek clip ke liye pareshan ho jayogi toh kaise chalega?? Agar bahar kisi ne sun liya to kya sochenge gao wale? Ki Roy Chaudhary ki bahu ke pass ek clip nahi??!!!" Bondita apologised her mother-in-law and left the place quite disheartened.
She went to her room. She was really missing the clip because the clip was something more than special! Anirudh had gifted her the clip on her 15th birthday and she lost it! This was her horrible day! Her Guru,Her whole Family was Anirudh!! She loved him always! She respected him and he was not less than a God's blessing to her and today she lost the gift Anirudh gave her.
Bondita was sitting quietly. She started to comb her hair. She tied her hair into a simple bun. This time when Anirudh came there and tried to remove the clip Bondita git alarmed. She held his hand tightly and moved back. She was shocked to find Anirudh there.
"Oh toh woh ap hai jo hame pareshan kar rahe the! Chaliye hame hamara clip wapas dejiye!"
"Woh butterfly and flower wala clip??..."
"Haan...."
"Woh toh hamne kahin phek diya! Waise bhi woh bas ek clip hi toh tha! Woh bhi 5 saal purana!"
"Acha...toh Yeh jo watch apne pehna hai ise bhi kahin phek dijiye...5 saal purana jo hai!"said Bondita pointing out his watch.
Anirudh got flashback that the watch was of Bondita's choice. She had asked him to buy that single watch and he had agreed with her choice.
Suddenly Bondita shouted at him to return her clip bringing Anirudh back from the flashback.
"Arey kaha nah Bondita hamne phek diya kahin"teased Anirudh. Oh how he loved teasing her!
Bondita got disappointed and she was about to go when Anirudh held her hand and pulled her in between his arms. He opened her hair again and whispered "khule baalon me aap zyada achi lagti hai...Mrs . Anirudh Roy Chaudhary!" He returned her clip and left the place humming songs!
She was left annoyed. After a few minutes she had a big smile on her face and resumed her work!
