Sona Mohapatra slams casting of Sara Ali Khan-Akshay Kumar

Recently while reacting to the casting of ‘Atrangi Re’, wherein Sara Ali Khan will romance Akshay Kumar and Dhanush, Sona referred to the ‘idiotic’ jokes made when Priyanka Chopra was marrying a much younger Nick Jonas. Also taking a dig at the age gap between the cast, the singer questioned if Madhuri Dixit would be cast opposite a 24 year old. The singer shared on Twitter, “Can a 52 year old Madhuri Dixit get cast in a romance opposite a 24 year old young boy any time soon, #India ?I’m okay with this but would love a world that would play fair. Remember the idiotic jokes & trolling poor Priyanka Chopra was subjected to when she married Nick Jonas.”

To be fair, some people troll the older actors romancing young women too. But it's definitely not on the same large scale as the trolling PC got.

Who trolled her ? .. Was it the Indian or western audience ? ..

What was the point she is making ? PC gets trolled for marrying Nick is real life, same as Milind Soman getting bashed for marrying a girl half his age.... Akshay Kumar working opposite Sara will get a different reaction just like SRK and Salman gets for romancing girls much younger to them....

Also we don't know if Akshay is romancing Sara.... Maybe he is not, just like SRK wasn't romancing Alia in DZ...

akshay looks 40 and sara looks 32-33..so the pairing doesn't look odd..not like he is paired with alia..ananya..they look very girly and young
