So Radha is on her way to Dwarka. And as per K a new adhyay is going to start initiated by Ruku!!! What a fiction folks π₯³π₯³
Extreme level of fiction Indian television have ever seen!!!π
π
Bhanusingher padabali is one of my favourites.
I too shared this song in this forum once and after a non-bong friend asked, translated it. It's not nearly as good as our queen of words (don't even need to say the name).....but just wanted to share π³
Thunderstorm in the July sky, night-ridden earth,
how will she cross the path to the garden- the helpless desirous lass !?
The raving wind sparks off the turbulent Yamuna to roar,
the relentless rumbling of the thunder,
lightning flashing, trees falling,
incite her whole body to shiver.
Raindrops pattering in the dense forest of Shal, Piyal, Palm and Tamal.....darkness is splashed over the Eden,
even this disaster can't stop the young dame.
Her ears can't resist the tune originated through the garden,
why is his flute playing the melancholy calling Radha's name ?
(Radha: ) Get me dressed in the pearl necklace, tie up my long dishevelled hair, arrange the parting, clad it with strings of Champak flower.
(Tagore: ) Resist his youthful calling ! I am Bhanusingha, your servant, keep my ardent request.
Do not embrace the dark forest's temptation, fear the thunder that makes your heart tremble, oh girl listen to me, please refrain from your quest.
You must be laughing at my stupidity. Tried translating one line of "Eka mor ganer tori" and stopped there.
How bewitching and aesthetic expressions are these Storm! Felt a subtle feeling while listening to the song, but after reading the meaning emotional tears. Thank you dear for this great gesturePure magical bliss!
Never knew this side of yours.
Sinking sinking drinking water hmmmπππ€¨

I have a Sajani sajani one as well....byas yeh do hi translatedπ³
Radhika, look up my friend, oh beautiful lady
Shyam is coming in slow pace singing a soft melody.
Hurry up ! wear the flower garland, put the blue veil on
Colour the parting in your hair with the red vermilion.
Dance and sing the song of union, come on my lady mates,
Fill this garden sky up with the restless chimes from your anklets.
Let the orchard brighten up, make the golden lamps glow,
Pour down the scented water for the fragrance to flow.
Pluck the various flowers of Mallika, Chameli and Beli, oh fair maiden,
String the Jasmine, String garlands of Bakul, String various flowers laden
Thirsty eyed Bhanu Singha keeps gazing towards the Eden alley,
Shyam is coming in slow pace singing a soft melody.

That day I was stunned because just before you translated those lines, I had translated the next 4 lines in the beyadh 2 forum.
It was the sweet bliss of a soulful coincidence in our friendship π€
I am still waiting and excited about your full translation btw

Well Madhuri have you read the confused poem of your confused friend?
Yehhhhh I called it !!!!!! Barsana clan will live happily ever after in dwarka--- I called it.....aab dheere dheere sab jayenge peeche peeche
Now another one------Radha will be in the same tree during Krishna death and they will die together ----miraculously by the same arrow !!!!!!
That day I was stunned because just before you translated those lines, I had translated the next 4 lines in the beyadh 2 forum.

Well then I have to finish the translation. Then I will read yours.
Please explain Madam .... how is it possible??πTwo birds with one arrow?
Two feet merged into one. Jara will shoot that feet.
Wah ... wah what a poetic treat at this late night! See , how beautiful these descriptions are for Radhika for her Krishna. Sakhis have such prominence in those days, these Cvs changed them as negative characters here to deceive Radha! Thank you Storm once again with a subtle hug π€
Why subtle ?? π I want a teddybear hug π
