Yeah the film was actually made in Tamil..They remade it in Hindi

I have seen most of the famous songs or movies are of Tamil zone.

Why still Bollywood is more famous than that industry.I am not saying That is less famous or anything.

But I got to about Tamil movies far after Bollywood entered in my life.

Yeah Bollywood remade most of the Tamil and Telugu films..And ruined too😛
