This is indeed befitting reply 😆 unlike those tapsee fuskis. Just that One single line is so punchworthy.

Befitting reply 👏👏👏👏the likes of alia and other nepo kids wouldn't have understood what he even meant by that single line.

And dont know about others..but the public truly acknowledge and are happy about real outsiders reaching the pinnacle of success ..they never connect with these privileged people or their sob stories about the hierarchies of privileges.

For example vicky kaushal didnt get half the cheers that Ayushmann got while on stage for receiving national award and that says A LOT.

^ I don't think so the general public have this insider-outsider agenda in their minds...

Ayushman got more cheers mainly because he delivered back to back 6 super successes that too with critically appreciated movies, and registered a stronger impact compared to Vicky.

Why does she feel she needs to be congratulated for 'finishing' a film that she got coz of her parents' contacts in the first place?? Congratulations beta you finished the film??🐷

That’s how fickle the industry is. That’s how indispensable people are. Anything can happen and he knows that.

Is she saying KJo might have replaced her and reshot the whole film? Bechara KJo, launch bhi karo n ye bhi suno🤣

My Dad never did a Dharma film, my Dad never went on Koffee with Karan. It isn’t as easy people say it is. Everyone has their own journey.

Aww! Boo-hoo. Of course shez comparing her life with Suhana. Not normal people.

Careful there, Ananya! One call from Suhana and KJo wont even look at you ever again. Nor will any other A-lister.😆😆

Then there will be blinds abt two young starkids who were besties but now they are having catfights😆 These ppl I tell you.

More power to Siddhant for calling out her BS🤣

I think partially she was trying to show that she struggled by indirectly reminding people that her father was never a big star therefor she’s not a true product of nepotism. But I think others are right too that she was taking a dig at Suhana. Maybe it was not because she’s got anything against Suhana but perhaps she’s using Suhana’s eventual entry into the industry as an argument in her favor to show that she’s a struggler.

The big thing here is that her mother is part of KJo’s gossip gang, by his own admission. Her introduction at soty2 trailer launch by KJo was that he’s known her since she was two.

I actually watched the entire round table and it was quite obvious that Ananya and somewhat even Tara didn't deserve to be there.

The rest had given such good performances and these two just didn't fit in for me, esp Ananya. Most of her answers were just 'My daaad, You know, My Daaad', randomly cutting off people and at one time she actually said 'I have sat on so many laps' 😆 Tara had to tell her to let it go when she realised she had goofed up and was trying to correct it.

Calling them was just silly IMO.

Vishal Jethwa was so genuine. It was really sweet to see him talking in Hindi(please note that I'm no language supremist or anything before others start objecting). I have a feeling that had there been some more peeps answering in Hindi(even if just a lil bit) he would have been more comfortable and would have contributed more to the table. And Abhimanyu too gave such sensible responses. I saw Mard ko Dard and he was good in such a quirky role (Gulshan was the scene stealer for me though). I hope they both get real good work in the industry.

I just feel that these nepo babies acknowledge the nepotism factor to seem woke, but legit have 0 clue and try to be victims of their circumstances.

Look at someone like Rajkumar Rao or Ayushman Khurana who had to wait so many years while the likes of Zayed Khan, Tushar Kapoor, etc can have their fathers make a phone call for even supporting roles despite strictly being below average performers. Even Karthik Aryan went through dozens of auditions before being to where he is today and you can hate but he has so much onscreen charisma.

Star childs pretend like they audition but they really don't. I understand Abhimanyu Dassani's struggle tho b/c despite being conencted he's really not, but Ananya Panday acting like the struggle was real is a joke, same with Alia. They legit walked into Dharma and KJo is crafting their career trajectory. Or SRK getting his daughter a Vogie cover for accomplishing absolutely nothing. How many outsiders get that exposure.

Maybe they all need to drop the PR talking points about nepotism and listen to others and actually accept their privilege instead pretending like there's so much pressure on them, when there's literally none.

Exactly this. People need to consider that their is also a hierarchy among celebs and rich people.

She had a struggle too as two other stark ids were being launched at the same time and all the coverage was about them.

Reading people, no one should ever complain because there is always worse.

For example these outsiders people like to rave about didn't live the same struggle as the older generation and most often than not have their passion for films being financed by their family.

When did we hear a story from rags to riches in Bwood? These outsiders sound more like spoiled rich kids who aren't used to being ignored in favor of other people.

Theis nepotism debate in Bwood is getting old. People should focus on what is happening on a bigger scale. Like nepotism in politics or corporations.
