Direction is hard work. A lazy person like Arjun Kapoor will just sabotage other people's hard work with his lax attitude.

Arjun seems to be in depression. The box office failures have clearly effected him. He wasn't a bad actor until Ki & Ka. He could've been an action hero like Suniel Shetty. He showed potential in Gunday. Now he completely looks bored and tired whether it's in movies or real life. Of course now that he has failed people will just bring statements like not having "X-factor" which I don't know what means. People seem to throw in words when they don't have anything to say. So no, Arjun is definitely not living in denial even if Sonam is delusional. Audience feedback has clearly effected him. As for doing lead roles, he started out as a lead hero and hasn't given enough failures to be demoted to second leads and character roles.

Arjun surely is. Sonam mostly makes her own movies so she must be aware of the losses they are making. But then one Veere Di Wedding covers for it, I am guessing.

The Zoya Factor was a horribly made film. Dulquer was the only decent thing about the film and I kept wondering what was he thinking when he signed the film. Easily his worst film ever. Even TV and webshows have better production value.

producers hardly make losses even for disasters. They have so many ways to recover; music rights, digital rights, satellite and streaming and if you get one or two popular songs like Tareefan, you can perform to it at functions for money. As long as distributors and exhibitors keep buying her movies, she can keep making them.

Why would Arjun turn down roles if people are offering them? Nobody turns down a job someone is happy to give them.

Hmm. I was talking abt the whole team, everyone involved. Being the producer (or producer's sister), she must be 'aware' of the losses the film is making. Someone is bearing the losses, I am sure she knows that distributors lost money. And ofcourse she doesnt care about it. Unfortunately, no one cares about others' losses.

In some cases producers do make losses, I think there was a blind which said KJo lost a lotta money coz of Kalank. Unless that is coz he was distributing it too? Also, losing credibility is a loss too. Not for nepo kids, though.

@Arjun: Totally! Ppl who are signing him are asking for flops. He has tried almost every genre except horror and nothing seems to be working. He should stop working in national interest, like Uday Chopra😆

Exactly ! It's unfortunately that The Zoya Factor bombed but true be told the movie wasn't that good and wasn't centered on the romance. It's the director's fault imo.

The the producer was also at fault because the promos weren't felt imo, neither were the songs and finally they changed the movie's release date at least twice ! It would confuse anyone.

ELKDTAL didn't do so well because of the subject matter which is understandable. But her performance in it was quite appreciated.

Wait. Zoya Factor made just 2 crores? 😲😆If it was anyone else...we'd never hear the end of it. People really don't care about her until she makes provocative statements, do they?

Arjun has no intention to quit. He believes he is the underdog that will make it one day
