Best actress to play female cop in Rohit Shetty's "cop universe"? - Page 2

As Rohit Shetty has said that he'll make a movie on female cop to complete his "cop universe", Who would be the best actress to play that role?

After watching Mardaani 2, I think Rani Mukerji would be the best choice. Other actresses who have done action on screen are not good choices. I can't take Katrina seriously as a tough cop and Tapsee isn't charismatic enough.

But Shetty will probably go for someone popular. I hope it's not Deepika or Alia.

If Alia and Deepika are not popular then no actress is.😆

Talking strictly about looks here: someone tall and fit would look good. Deepika or Kat would look the part. These two can look strong rather than overtly dainty and vulnerable. Shetty films are all about action, stunts and style.

The new gen Sara, Ananya could end up looking caricaturish, like Shikhari Shambu I am afraid, based on the way they are guided to perform. I doubt Shetty would cast a young actress at this stage of their career. Too much at stake for him to experiment.

Also, I know Rani did pull off her role in Mardaani, though she is not very tall but then Mardaani had content, that is not something a Rohit Shetty films are known for. Golmaal 1 (with Sharman) is his only film I like, it had the best dialogues even if the story was missing.

Aloo is actually of Taapsee-Bhumi's league. Chota movie karo with thoda sa hatke role, choti success do. Even her Khan starrer did average business at box-office.
