I agree that in India there is the highest number of C sections and many times it is the greed of the hospital. But there is one more important reason and that is doctors are hell scared of patients. If anything happens in normal delivery doctors get beaten up and patients malign reputation. So even if there is the slightest risk, doctors do not want to take it by normal delivery and prefer c-section. In fact, many poor patient families also insist on it.

I know right. Some comments I read be like — I would be pissed if someone’s sharing my Birthday.

I am like kaun ho, kaha se aate ho.

One of my friend was due between my, my husband’s and another friend’s Bday. And we all wanted the kid to come on our Bday so we can share. But we are normal middle class people. So, What do I know about bigger issues like sharing Bdays in the world. 😆

And apparently how many kids r born in the world everyday? 😆

More than feeling sorry for him, I'm creeped out by this girl, her spoilt rich interview I read, who's already gotten everything and more so.

It's just creepy.

It might also got something to do with the large number of patients a single doctor has to handle at any given point. A scheduled surgery makes sure they are available to the patient which may not be the case if they all opt for normal delivery which is can be at any time.

We don't have enough doctors here .

More than doctor's choice, it's the patient's choice to go for C sections. Because they don't want to go through the painful labor.

While I was doing my internship in a government medical college , the patients used to shout at us because they thought we did not want to operate on them since we were lazy. Beat that

My cousin sister's doctor told her that she is going to have a normal delivery, and she straightaway refused. In fact she even refused to get a spinal anaesthesia and opted for general anesthesia for a simple C section 🤔

LOL and how is this going to help?

Because normal delivery is a natural process and doctors do not really need to "DO" anything during labor, other than assisting and looking for any complications. So they can look after more than 1 patient at a time.

While during C section, a doctor can operate on a single patient.

So actually C section won't solve the problem of scarcity of doctors 🤔

Salman said it in today's BB episode that his Bday is not his anymore its Ayat's. He loves his family so I guess he loves it that he shares his bday with his niece.
