After the big launch of the Chhapaak trailer, Deepika Padukone kicked off the promotions of her upcoming film by shooting for an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show. A day back, Deepika joined Vikrant Massey and director Meghna Gulzar for Chhapaak’s trailer launch. The diva never ceases to amaze everyone with her style and after keeping it regal and stylish in black for trailer launch, Deepika chose a much more vibrant look for the shoot of The Kapil Sharma’s show. 

On Wednesday, Deepika was snapped on the sets of the comedy show along with director Meghna. In the photos, Deepika is seen sporting a boho-chic look in a hot pink ensemble. With a hot pink top and matching pants, Deepika added a matching jacket to complete the outfit. The Chhapaak star was seen sporting a heavy pair of silver earrings and several bracelets on her wrist to give bohemian vibes to the whole look. A gold belt on Deepika’s waist broke the monotony of her all pink look.

With a huge smile on her face, Deepika greeted the studio audience and Kapil as well. The diva looked elated she shot for the comedy show. Even Kapil Sharma who recently welcomed a baby girl with wife Ginni Chatrath headed back to resume shooting for this episode of his show. In a photo, Deepika can be seen posing with Kapil. In another picture, Deepika and Chhapaak director Meghna strike a pose.

A day back, Deepika and Vikrant joined Meghna to launch Chhapaak trailer which has been getting rave reviews from fans. Based on the story of Laxmi Agarwal, Chhapaak will showcase Deepika playing Malti, an acid attack survivor who fights to end the unregulated sale of acid in the country. Vikrant will be seen playing her love interest in the film. Chhapaak is also co-produced by Deepika. It is slated to release on January 10, 2020.

Deepika Padukone unveiled the trailer of Chhapaak with her team just yesterday, and while there's only a month left until the movie hits the theatres, the actress has started the promotions, and her first stop for the same, turned out to be The Kapil Sharma Show. Photos of the actress on the sets of the show have been doing the rounds on the internet and we bet fans can't get enough.

And next up, we have photos of the actress exiting the sets, but with a change of dress as she is headed for another show, where she spoke about Bollywood and cricket. And for her appearance tonight, she decided to pull off a nice denim jumpsuit, one of the dark blue side, while her hair was tied into a pony tail. She looked simple and yet elegant, and with the new hairdo, her outfits always have our attention.

At the trailer launch yesterday, Deepika got talking about taking on this journey, and she even got emotional after watching the trailer with everyone. While the actress did go on to say how the movie is the best for so many reasons, director Meghna Gulzar added how the movie should not be called a women-centric film, and in fact, she also accompanied the actress on The Kapil Sharma Show today.
