As we saw from the precap and today's episode promo, HS lays out his fears and insecurities before Minnie.

On one hand, this is good as Minnie will realize the extent of his problems and will have the opportunity to sort them out. However, they also hold the potential of keeping Minnie back and making her give up on her dreams, which is wrong.

I'm not disregarding HS' feelings towards Minnie. His concerns are valid, but his fatherly affections shouldn't come at the cost of Minnie's independence or better future. She should be given the opportunity to soar high without holding onto any guilt.

Babita se toh koi umeed hi nayi hai. Hopefully HS is able to see past his takleef and does what's right by Minnie.

Today's episode should be a good one.

Update:

• HS comes to speak to Minnie
• He mentions that he could imagine the pain Minnie must be going through but she denies that he can't
• He accepts and his mistake. He asks if he can have a few minutes to justify himself.
• He knows he broke her trust by hiding that letter but what could he do? He got scared.
• In a voice over, he expresses how hurt he would feel if she left. As if a piece of his heart was removed from him. They never had a formal relationship but there was still a nameless right. He always felt something for her. She was like a daughter to him. There were many times where he felt like hugging her and telling her if he and Imarti had a daughter, then she would be just like her. A little angry, a little stubborn but true at heart. There were so many times where he wished Minnie was his daughter and that she was brought up by him. He wished that when she was born, he got to hold her small hands and feet. That he got to hear her chiming laughter. But he just never could.
• Minnie in a voice over mentions how she always longed to hear him say that she's his daughter. She always longed for him to express that right over her. She wishes for him to say right now that he won't just let her go like that. Either he'll stop her or he'll go himself to drop her off. He's her father after all. She wishes he'll speak up right now. She'll hug him right away and won't be able to stop herself.
• HS tells her that since she has made a decision, no one can stop her. As it is, who is he to stop her. But Babita will fall apart.
• Minnie tells him that she won't. As it is she wants to run away from all reminders of Ashok. And since she has married HS, why would she want to be tied to Minnie? After all, she is a reminder of Ashok and she doesn't mean anything to HS. She asks him for confirmation but HS doesn't say anything.
• Minnie tells HS that tomorrow the entire day will pass in collecting documents and she'll leave the day after.
• Babita is shocked upon hearing Minnie's departure date. She refuses to believe that she can just leave like that and cites how she doesn't have an admission or money to stay.
• HS tells her that she has already got an admission. Babita is shocked that Minnie applied already and didn't tell Babita about it. She dismisses her admission and cites how will she live on her own. Who will take care of her expenses? She's not being practical at all. HS tells her that she is practical. She's from today's generation and has already looked after everything. He informs her how she has gotten a scholarship from the university and about the money she has raised from her photography assignments.
• Babita asks when did all this happen. HS says how there was a lot happening in Minnie's life but they just couldn't see it. They messed up big time as they couldn't read their own child's heart.
• Babita is adamant about making Minnie stay back. If Minnie doesn't like her then she doesn't care but she doesn't want her to go anywhere. Breaking into tears, she asks HS how will she be able to live without Minnie. HS leaves without giving an answer.
• The next morning, Minnie thinks back to what happened the previous night.
• She sees Babita sleeping on the chair outside and wraps her in a blanket.
• HS is talking with Naeem Bi about what Babita did the previous night and asks her for advice.
• Naeem Bi asks him what exactly does he want. He tells her that he doesn't want Minnie to go anywhere and stay in Patiala with them. Naeem Bi asks him why. He answers that if she stays then everything will be alright. Babita will be happy. If she doesn't, then Babita will fall apart, she won't be able to live. Somewhere along the way, his and Babita's relationship will also get affected. Inwardly, she'll always keep thinking that her and Minnie's relationship got ruined because of a third person (him).
• Naeem Bi tells him that's his and Babita's problem. Minnie's not at fault. HS asks what if Minnie stays back. Naeem Bi tells him to cut it out. For how long will they keep asking Minnie to make sacrifices? For how long will she put her own life aside and live for her mother? Don't be so selfish. Let Minnie think about her own life.
• HS tells her that she can do so by living in Patiala. Naeem Bi tells him that Minnie doesn't want to stay here as she feels suffocated. Can't he see how Babita is trying to put societal shackles on Minnie and wants her to become just like her? And what does he want? For Minnie to become just like Babita?
• HS says no but he's there. He'll make her understand. Naeem Bi confronts this. As far as she knows HS has always done Babita's bidding. She asks him if he wants to know why Minnie wants to leave. She puts forth a hypothetical situation. Babita, Minnie and him are stuck on a boat, in a storm. If he could save only one person, who would it be? Babita right because she's his his wife and it's his duty to protect her. She puts forth another hypothetical situation where this time it's Babita, him and his biological daughter. Who would he save then?
• She tells him relationships are really complicated. She has tried to explain it to him so many times but he just never understood as he was in a hurry to repay his mother's debts. Now that this truth is before him, he should listen to another one. If he saves Babita, then she'll never forgive him and break ties with him for letting go of Minnie as she is a mother after all. But if he saves Minnie, then she'll never forgive him for abandoning her mother. HS says how either way it's his loss. Naeem Bi tells him that he needs to save Babita from drowning and let Minnie learn how to swim.
• HS asks her that means Minnie will have to learn how to swim but alone. She has become so alone all of a sudden. Naeem Bi tells him that she truly is a Veer Balika. She'll be able to stand on her own two feet. She has understood her, now it's time for him to understand her too. Don't stop her, let her go.
• Khatri has renamed the shop to Kammo Da Patiala Babes. Kammo is very happy about it. Minnie sees the board and remembers how she and Babes had both opened the store together. She's very hurt by it and wants to leave as she can't take it anymore. Khatri stops her and taunts her.
• Precap: Minnie is finishing up her packing while HS and Babita are seated downstairs, waiting for her. Babita is constantly pacing and keeps looking up at the barsaati, worried and tensed beyond hell.

What happened between HS mini today? 

i caught up with the episode late. 

HS still dosent want mini to go. He wants to stop her because of babita or himself or both i dint understand.

Today NB 's question really hurt. She asked HS if in a emergency situation he had to choose between saving Babita & mini who would he choose- Babita because she was his wife. And if he was caught between his real daughter and Babita who would he choose. And if he choose babita she would never forgive him for not saving mini and if he choose mini she would not forgive him for not saving her mother. so he should let mini learn to swim on her own.

And i think somewhere mini understands that HS would choose babita over her because she is her priority after marriage. That is what he has done all these days after marriage

You should catch the first five minutes of the episode. It was really touching.

There was so much that he wanted to say but he didn't. We got it in the voice over instead. It was the same thing with Minnie. She wanted him to jatao his haq over her. If he had done it, then she wouldn't have left. We got this in the voice over too.

But because he didn't say anything, she didn't push it either even though she gave him an opportunity to speak up on it.

Gosh, Hannie were too good today.

He wants her to stop for himself but because he doesn't use his haq over her, he uses Babita.

Today’s episode was good. 

HS enters Mini’s room and apologised to her. He said he can understand her pain but she said u cannot.he said maybe yes I cannot and stuff. He said that I was scared (now you know a monologue sort of thing I mean telepathy if u May say so Happened which I won’t reveal but ek hint deti hu HAQ) they talked a little more and the scene ended(Ye dono pe gussa aata hai Mujhe kasam se) Next scene... Babes ka drama Mini kaise jaasakti hai Kharcho ka kya Practical nahi hai ladki Mai kaise jiyugi. HS says woh practical hai, usne apni life plan kar Rakhi hai usko scholarship mili hai. Babes cries 🙄. Morning scene Mini at Balcony remembers what happened previous night. She is going to her room but she sees Babita sleeping downstairs. She makes her wear a blanket (song Chandaniya was playing in this scene) In NB balcony HS is complaining about Babes and stuff. NB says Mini feels suffocated in Patiala because Babita is trying to convert Mini into another Babita due to society pressure. She further explained how Mini is alone at the moment and needs to be free. Next scene Khatri Kammo Minni(chaho toh skip it) Precap- Mini packs her bag and Hanita wait downstairs

Yes caught up with that. HS why dint he say anything. 😔 Mini gave him a lot of chance to speak even while he went over with it in his head. CVS why do this. he could have just said i was scared you will go away and couldnt loose you. utna bhi chalta

even in front of NB he was using babita.

Another issue with HS is that he sees mini as his & imartis chori not his and babitas daughter. The being parents together still hasnt happened. Maybe that is why they together havent been able to handle mini properly

Atleast Mini should not be leaving on a bitter note.... And both HS and Mini are dhakkans😡.... Both r going through the same emotion but do not want to say it....

HS was a bigger dhakkan he was the one who had to speak and give an explanation. Does he think that mini should be going with the pain that HS broke her trust. Everyone has broken it at least he could have given her some respite by letting her know the truth about hiding the letter.

Again its all about Bacheri Mini and her feelings only and no one else counts is so stupid and blatantly obvious that its only Bacheri Mini Mini. So crazy.

Yes others have feelings but why her only.

Here I want RS and KK to apologise to Paridth for not honouring there part in this mess that has happened and yes Ashnoor be truthful and admit you were in it too. No wonder there is no interaction between them now. Karma is there for a reason and it pays back with interest.

His fear overpowered him. All he had to do was say it.

Literally, if he had spoken even a fraction of what he was thinking, she would have stayed. But because he didn't give her a reason to, she's now leaving.
