• Minnie tells Babes that HS has kept a fast for her while HS tries to deny it at first. Minnie insists that he has and that the lady constables had told her. In fact, they were telling their own husbands to learn something from him. She tries to feed Babes but she stops her saying that during KC, wives get fed by their husbands. Minnie hands over the plate to HS and Hanita both feed each other.
• Beeji is doing the KC pooja late because she got too busy watching her T.V. show.
• Dadu tells Beeji that he always wants her to remain and die as a married woman. In this age, when a spouse dies early then it's difficult to handle. If she dies then he'll manage somehow but she won't be able to tolerate it. Beeji says that she wants him to go before her otherwise she'll constantly be worried about who will look after him.
• Naeem Bi mentions she's surprised to see how a married couple is wishing the other dies before them so that the other doesn't remain alone. Beeji mentions this is the difference between a young and old couple. A younger couple lives in a colorful world whereas the older one is faced with and has seen reality.
• Dadu says how at this age everything takes a new meaning. They only think about the other and start seeking out for a small life with the other rather than a long one. They simply want to end their life with dignity and respect.
• Minnie tells Preet how even before Babes used to keep a strict fast and used to break it by seeing Ashok's photo. Her thoughts regarding the fast haven't changed since then. Preet mentions how both their mothers are the same but Minnie disagrees. She says Babes has seen and been through a lot more in life than Rano has. Preet tells her to let it go and just let them life as they want to and they'll live their own life as they want to. She's glad that Mickey has changed her already. Minnie teases her about Mickey.
• HS tells Minnie that he liked that Minnie spoke on his behalf. It's necessary to teach Babes that nothing is above her health. She spoke honestly. Minnie tells him that there was a time when he found every thing she said to be honest. Now, it's all selective. HS asks her if she's taunting him, she nods yes. HS tells her that she's right to do so since he yelled at her without thinking things clearly that day. He's not as strong as her. His dad was his dad. The day his dad died was the first time HS felt as if he was orphaned. Regardless of how much he hurt his mom, there was a still relationship with him that he couldn't escape. Even after his mom died, it was really complicated. There was still an attachment because he was his dad.
• He asks if Minnie understands and she says yes. She's still angry with Ashok and she'll never speak to him again in life. Still, when he had arrested her she got really restless as if she had made a mistake not him. When he was leaving for London, she was really happy for Babes because she was moving on. But she still felt like stopping him and asking him if he never felt like talking to her. Did you never want to share things with me or want me to share things with you?
• HS says he never missed her dad that much. She denies the matter. She can't really explain it just like he can't explain what his relationship with his dad was like until he died. Everyone must have that sense of belonging in regards to their parents.
• HS asks her if in the future Ashok ever wanted to meet her, then would she? Minnie shakes her head no but HS says how her eyes are saying something else. She tries to dismiss it saying something went in. She says he has hurt Babes a lot. HS tries to explain how every story has two sides. She has already seen it in the case of him and Babita. Everyone has their own perspective. One can either be completely right, but it's not necessary that the other will be completely wrong either. If Ashok ever tries to explain his side of the story, then would she believe him?
• Minnie keeps quiet. HS urges her to speak up but Minnie tells him to let go of these hypothetical talks. Ashok never bothered to tell his side of the story and she never bothered to ask either. For her, it's always been about Babes, not him. She loves her Babes the most. Besides, there was never any communication from his side so she doesn't think he'll do it in the future either. It's pointless to think about these hypothetical things.
• The next morning, Mickey goes over Minnie's checklist for the college application. Minnie tells him that she hasn't decided yet if she wants to go or not. Mickey tells him that's her choice but what's wrong in keeping her options open? If she does decide to go, she shouldn't regret not having her documents in order. He jokes about how life is unpredictable and Minnie's more so.
• He asks her if she has her passport and she says she does but it's old and they had it made just in case Ashok ever called them over to London. Besides it has her old name in it and Ashok's name in the father column which she doesn't want. She just wants Babita's name attached to her.
• Mickey tells her that's fine since according to new rules only a mother's name will work too. But she'll still need to make a new passport for proof of address since she doesn't live at her old home anymore. For that he'll need a letter for Babes which Minnie vehemently denies since Babes will panic and won't let her go. Mickey tells her to go to HS then since the Haveli belongs to him.
• Minnie comes home and sees HS is cooking. She asks Babes if she's not feeling well. Babita tells her she's just feeling a little weak but she's fine. HS insisted on cooking since it was Sunday. HS tells him all the dishes that he has made and how happy Minnie will get upon eating it. Both Minnie and Babita joke about HS' cooking skills.
• HS gives Minnie the food to taste and it hasn't been made well at all.
• Precap: Minnie shows HS the letter for proof of address which she needs to make her passport. HS asks where she's going. Minnie denies going anywhere and mentions how the day before he mentioned how life is unpredictable and she doesn't want to miss out on any opportunities.
