The next day, Khushi and Prerna are sitting in the canteen. Lavanya comes there.

Both hug each other.
Meanwhile, Aditya tells Lavanya, "I have told you over the phone that I am taking admission in this college and now you are leaving."
Lavanya: I want to tell you something. I am not leaving this college for Arnav or Khushi. I am leaving college because Khushi had made me realize my love for Arnav. If I stay here, I won't be able to rediscover my feelings for you.
Aditya: If you leave, even I will cancel my admission here. Anyway, he does not love you or Khushi. I remember the times when you and Khushi were good friends. Everyone goes home after the dance function. The next day, Arnav and his friends go to the Golden Gate. Aditya gets suspicious. He called up Khushi and said, "Arnav is taking you for a ride. Khushi: Stop making fun. Are you doing this for Lavanya?
Aditya: Whatever you want to think about me, you can imagine. Lavanya told me what he had confessed to her. As a friend, I have to caution you. If you don't believe it, come to the Golden Gate at 4 pm.
At 4 pm
Arnav and his friends gather.

He puts the kerosene and throws the lits the fire.
His friends see the spreading of the fire.
Lavanya comes to Khushi.
She said, "Arnav has changed a lot. He is not like before. Only you can stop him from hurting himself.
Khushi sees this and comes running to Arnav.
She said, "Have you gone mad? Come out of the fire."
Arnav: First, you tell me that I love you.
Khushi: Stop this madness.
The fire blazes.
Khushi: Arnav, I love you.
She jumps into the fire with the sand, extinguishing the fire.
