My mind was itching to write something since a long time but I just couldn't, fearing that I'd distort the perfection of CVs. So the safest way is to extend old scenes, without any fear.
Hope it's not too bad!
Piya Tose Naina Laage Re
"Imarti, Imarti thi", his voice resounded in her ears.
Her nerves shook, out of jealousy. Out of insecurity. Was she no one? Was Imarti everything?
"Aapko toh main kisise naa compare kar saku", came her heart's response. She stood her ground.
"Aur main, main hoon. Main Babita hoon", she said, just as he'd turned away to leave. He stopped in his tracks and looked back at her.
She could see it in his eyes, she had touched the wrong chord. Instantly, her eyes softened from the harshness and angst to softness, sensing that he was in pain. His forehead was strained with bulging nerves.
She took a step forward to stop him and apologise but he instinctively went away, into the dark, uncertain night.
She sighed. She shouldn't have taken shelter in Imarti's ways.
With a heavy heart, she moved upstairs. Mini was fast asleep in bed. She quietly went into the balcony and saw his form, against the moonlight. Eyes were red and he looked up defiantly at her. His eyes revolted against her strong belief.
Piya Tose Naina Laage Re,
Naina Laage Re,
Jaane Kya Ho Ab Aage Re...
He wasn't a horse that could be tamed with force. He had to be won over with love, affection and trust. She was nowhere close to getting there yet.
He lifted up the bottle with an adamant pull and pressed it against his lips, still digging into her eyes.
He walked away into the pitch black, leaving behind a worried Babita. She was worried, not about his drinking, but about the pain he carried in the name of Imarti. The agony that was eating him alive, from within.
She felt the urge to bring him relief. To somehow soothe his heart and tell him, it would all be okay. What could've been the pain of separation arising from death?
Would she be able to understand him and the heartbreak he was nursing since all thse years?
She looked up and wondered how tricky and wicked were the games of destiny.
Jag Ne Utaare
Oooo...
Dharati Pe Tare
Par Mann Mera Murjhaye
Milne Ko Jiya Akulaye
Aa Sajan Payal Pukare
Jhanak Jhan Jhan
Jhanak Jhan Jhan...
She felt the moon smiling back at her. And quite instantly, she felt the searing pang again, of his presence. And of his touch. She was reminded of the moment his hand had seamlessly and swiftly touched hers.
Raat Ko Jab Chaand Chamake
Jal Uthhe Tann Mera
Main Kahoo Mat Karo Chandaa
Iss Gali Kaa Pheraa...
The moonlight, that had felt so warm and cosy then, now seem so cold and threatening.
She complained to the bright whitened ball in the sky.
Aana Mora Saiyan Jab Aaye
Chamakna Uss Raat Ko Jab
Milenge Tann Mann
Milenge Tann Mann
Frowning away, she turned back and closed the doors behind her. She went and stood in front of the mirror once again, with a new resolve now - to bring back Imarti's fondness in his life.

I couldn't do justice to this beautiful song but I do wish to someday see it getting picturized on them <3
Here's the song, if anyone would like to revisit the lines -
Ciao.
