What's Tashi's deal

Is Tashi a silent partner of rivaj and his mother? Post leap her entire character is questionable. From a daddy's girl we never see her with her sick, wheelchair bound dad. She married in less than a yr after her brother and sil 'death. ' She isn't worried about rukmani. She's a gullible, naive, clown of a wife to a womanizing husband!  Like why did they butcher the pre-leap Tashi!
