She actually picked Meera first. ImLi convinced her to choose Veronica instead. And glad she did coz from Cocktail onwards she started to ignore camera and shed her inhibitions which held her back before that.

Oh i didn't know she chose meera already..good for her. I think veronika is landmark for her as she got various roles offered after that.

Yes she herself said many times that she picked meera first as it felt more close to her personality to her and it was Imtiaz who argued that she had a veronica streak in her too and that she shpuld bring it to the fore.
