Akshay Kumar and Padmaavat director Sanjay Leela Bhansali have impressed everyone with their collaboration in the 2012 film Rowdy Rathore. The actor’s best performance and the director’s effort has raked in good numbers. The Mission Mangal star will be in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali sequel of Rowdy Rathore as well.
The director and the actor have wanted to make a sequel of the film since long. But, Akshay has been very busy hence the idea was pushed ahead. On many occasions, the producer has mentioned, “Lekin Akshay ko phursat kahan?”. In the beginning of 2018, Akshay and Sanjay Leela Bhansali had hosted a joint press conference to announce the postponed dates of the film Padman and paved the way for Padmaavat’s release. The actor has shared his feelings on wanting the sequel of Rowdy Rathore 2 to be made.
As the first part was directed by Prabhudheva, Rowdy Rathore 2 is all set to go on floors in 2020, but with another director.
