SPM~ My Musings~26.6.19 ~ The wail of a woman in labour!

Zainab’s rescue process of Saltanat, right from the start bore a likeness to a woman giving birth. Reminded me of the torture and pain a woman undergoes through the process of giving birth to its baby. For me it was not coincidental that Sultanat was enclosed in a box, chest or perhaps her mothers womb. On the outside Saltanat was surrounded by water.Zainab’s, wails, her cries to her god appeared so laborious. Like a mother, enduring conractions! she hammers open the lock! Expels her child from the womb as it were, and breaks her child free her from the waters of the sac! Brings her child, out into the world! Frantically ensures her child lives! As a mother, Zainab, prompts her child’s breathing by reiterating Saltanat has to live as Zaroon waits for her! Zainab gives  Saltanat a new birth! Wraps her cold trembling baby in the mantle of warm maternal love!

My musing is based on the speculation that Saltanat too might be Zainab’s own child, alongside Kainat. Symbolically the appearance of the swan and  it’s cygnets, as trackers to Zainab,  also led me to further believe that Zainab is Saltanat’s real mother as opposed to Rubina, Zainab , may well be seen as the swan figure itself..An image of maternal, grace and beauty. One that brings protection and rescue for the sinking, drowning Saltanat. Once stable at the side of the pool, Zainab, symbolic of the swan, again reminds a revived Saltanat, that she has to see Zaroon to establish the purity and devotion of their love! their lasting partnership .The figure of the swan also relates to transformation. Zainab, touches upon the change that has to happen. That Zaroon has to marry  Saltanat! not Kainat,  as arranged!

The hammer that Zainab uses to smash Kainat’s lock on the chest, relates to Zainab’s attempt at breaking the misdeeds of Kainat’s hardened heart. We see  that Zainab now holds a strong mindset  of defeating mores o Kainat’s evil plot of marrying Zaroon rather than Saltanat’s love winning. This in itself is quite a transformation in Zainab , as seen by the survived Saltanat, who was once bound by Zainab’s oath of saving Kainat’s life. Zainab’s support, now makes Saltanat strong enough to confront Kainat and meet Zaroon. Both now seem in agreement, that Kainat should not be allowed to get away with her trickery and deception. As she playing with three lives a not just hers.

Zaroon, is like a dead man, read to be sacrificed. Spiritually severed he muses with Saltanat’s broken, glass bangle piece.. even disappointed he still waits for her arrival. Feels cheated that she is not present at the wedding venue to watch, he is doing what she desired of him. Even the Iman  senses the groom’s heart is not in the milestone he is about to undertake. But then as always, Mamoon speaks for Zaroon that all is well.

Zaroon’s musings about Saltanat, contrast with Kainat and Sabina’s sibilant whisperings. What if both Zainab and worse still, if  Sultanat shows up? Sabina guarantees nothing of the sort will happen. She speculates Sultanat to be dead! and Zainab still under lock and key!

Sabina without any moral restrictions, poses in the role of the bride’s mother! Kainat hoodwinks Mainjaan, tells him her mother might be held up in the traffic! Besides her mother bade her not to delay the nikah, she’ll be there shortly! I doubt if there is an auspicious hour issue  here.. as is, in a Hindu wedding.. she justs wants the nikah done and dusted asap!

Little do the pair of conniving vixens Sabina and Kainat know that a scooter! bearing the new-age independent girl moves stoically towards the new goal in life, escorted by truth itself, Zainab ,the swan, who has just set her free!

Of course getting to the nikah venue will pose problems. Closed door for starters! more challenges ,which a rejuvenated, yet restored by Zainab , Sultanat feels, she can handle by taking another route! Drop out of the sky! right into  Zaroon ‘s arms! the groom meant for Kainat ,but truly  her Sufiyana love. Her action is her bold confession!

Right! Let me share with you now. Why  I enjoyed this episode! yes some of my readers might have guessed it.. it;'s my cricket fever! Bravo! CV’s for incorporating and capturing the at present cricket  obsession and love for the sport that all Indians and Pakistani’s share when playing against each other!  How the streets are empty, peoples of both nations, are glued to their telly screens or radios! Such fervour ! viewing, adrenalin pumping time with friends and family! The best bit for me was the historic match was played on my home ground! and yes the game was well played! and the better team won! Good for them! giving peoples of both countries, some great moments!

In SPM too..there was a Ind/Pak match feeling!  Team Saltanat and team Kainat! it was amusing to watch, that most men were more interested in the scores, rather than the marriage proceedings! There is  tough competition !between the two!  Both players use their own game tactics! either fair or foul! The game is still on! tomorrow. We shall  find out which of the two  cousins win the trophy and the man of the match award!!

Kainat dressed as a bride, glares at her would be groom Zaroon,  who communicates with a broken piece of bangle in his palm.. Kainat sneers as she muses, she is not complaining ,but has noticed that he does not value, those who value him.. 26.6.19.hamlet53.

Thanks sandhiya,Lonelythots, Irshita, and soapwatcher 1, for supporting my work.love hammie!

Pakistan won today Wednesday! Good luck India! for Thursday's match at Old Trafford Manchester!

Hello hammie,

Like you said, India-pak match fever made the episode light..

The highlight was to play a match commentary in the BG during a dramatic sequence like the heroine running ala bhansali style with the dupatta flowing behind her.. it looked like the writers were trolling their own dramatic sequence😀

Am wondering when sultanat falls from the top of the roof right into zaroon’s arms, will a match commentary be played..haha.. just for fun...

On a serious note, miajaan was extremely dense to not understand that zaroon was unhappy.. but poor him.. again tomorrow, a marriage is going to stop and may be the imam/kazi May blame him for this forceful marraige.

Ah.. as expected.. Zainab has already started to cover up for kainaat’s misdeeds..

Like that spectacled chachajaan in kainaat-humza’s haldi said, looks like weddings are really not made for the shah khandan, as of now.. the score will be 4 by the next episode.. am talking about the number of weddings planned but broken.

yes the otherwise, bizzare episode! cricket mania did liven things up..so true, its what folks do!

bansali and what prena does in Kasuti ..yes saw Sultanat.. was wondering which nation she was representing?

oohhhhh what a shot! sixer! for sure and caught out too! i mean Kainat gets caught out and leaves the pavilion! now the bit to watch is the Toronto jet batting a full century!

Mainjaan, just wants things done.. smoothly and swiftly!   and yes you may be  right, kainat's wedding will be stopped! making way for Zaroon's wedding to happen with Saltanat..  Rubina and Ghazala will be pleased..

Ah.. as expected.. Zainab has already started to cover up for kainaat’s misdeeds..

yes good point Lonelythots, i forgot to cover.. Zainab did stop herself from even insinuating to   Saltanat that Kainat is behind the complete dance of death drama..

yes and probably  Mainjaan  Is aware of whats said about  marriages and the Shahs, in the coummunity and wider family, that's why mainjaan  wants kainats wedding done..

well today  we shall find out  if a wedding happens?..thanks for  your prompt comment... love hammie

don't watch cricket or any other sports. Can't get grown-up men whacking a teeny-weeny ball and then chasing it around.

Like your comparison of the trunk rescue to giving birth. I found the swans funny. Appeared out of no where.

As for the episode, it was a drag - but then I expected it to be. Nikaah ceremony moved at a snail's pace.

Mia Jaan is so desperate to get Kainaat off his back that he doesn;t question how can a girl marry without her mother attending the ceremony. Come on! she is just running late, not dead or something. If not Mia Jaan, why didn't anyone else question it?

Zainab said she was saving 3 people's life. Which three? Sultanat, Kainaat and Rubina? Sultanat, Zaroon, and Kainaat? Sultanat, Kainaat, and herself? Sultanat, Zaroon, and their offspring? this number 3 was really bothersome for me. Kainaat and Rubina are beyond saving.

Why didn't Sultanat question Zainab sudden guilt or sudden urge to unite true love? After all, she is still under the oath.

Why did they steal the motorcycle and not the auto-rickshaw?

So many questions...

Hey Hammie.

I see that the viewers are still complaining about the dragging. The makers are never going to learn.

Anyways, its Thursday which means its TRP day. As promised, I came back to give you the number. Its officially been 1 week since the SaRoon promo came out so the numbers should indicate if TRP audience are interested in SaRoon. Funnily enough, the TRP is 0.3. It decreased by 0.1 from last week. The confession scene is this week so next week may be a better indication if SaRoon are a TRP favourite.

SaRoon fandom is freaking out that it is the channel's fault that the TRP is low. They call Star Bharat a flop channel. But they don't realize that RadhaKrishn gets 1+every week. Nimki and Muskaan also get about 0.9 every week. These fans are never going to admit that SPM is a terrible show with bad storytelling.

oh come on be a sport! waise Cricket was left  for us by the British Raj.. me grew up  cheering for the sport.. although  in UK its football that is worshipped like a god!

Like your comparison of the trunk rescue to giving birth. I found the swans funny. Appeared out of no where.

that was the whole idea of the swan.. they were sent by the heavenly powers.. waise Zainab seems to have switched!  the theme of virtue  overwhelming vice seems to surface ,more openly by Zainab's words and deeds,

As for the episode, it was a drag - but then I expected it to be. Nikaah ceremony moved at a snail's pace.

wedding ceremonies especially the proceedings are quite lengthy.. been to  from a variety of faiths and cultures..

Mia Jaan is so desperate to get Kainaat off his back that he doesn;t question how can a girl marry without her mother attending the ceremony. Come on! she is just running late, not dead or something. If not Mia Jaan, why didn't anyone else question it?

sadly you are so right.. he just wants to correct what he arranged , but it very nearly went wrong

Kainaat and Rubina are beyond saving.

now that you bring it up.. even me is forced to consider other options you mention.. I assumed the obvious, Saltanat, Zaroon, and Kainat herself!

Why didn't Sultanat question Zainab sudden guilt or sudden urge to unite true love? After all, she is still under the oath.

i think, Zainab  said something to the effect of  just hurry before the Nikah takes place1 rest she'll i suppose explain later

Why did they steal the motorcycle and not the auto-rickshaw?

I think the driver was listening to the commentary at the kiosk.. besides, motorbike is trendy.. dekha how Babita and mini ride bikes!

So many questions...

well one question will be answered tonight.. does Saltanat love Zaroon a public confession..

mean while lets watch the much advertized  27th June episode... Irshita even on StarPlus!

much love hammie!!

yes its like they have turned to deaf ears as long as the forum.. and other portals are chugging along..

ok  it clearly shows a slump.. i go by the chaska meter, that hasn't showed any movement since 46... not sure how it works, or even works in comparsison  to the Trps you share with us..

SaRoon fandom is freaking out that it is the channel's fault that the TRP is low. They call Star Bharat a flop channel. But they don't realize that RadhaKrishn gets 1+every week.  well like i said before RadhaKrishn can never be compared with the kind of love Saroon are professing.. me watching Muskan/Nimik too for the outcomes the two women are  fighting for.. powerful men who get away with anything, especially crimes against women..

SPM, haven't  quite grasped  what its up against.. the love angle it promotes seem to be failing with me at least.. I only want to know about safely guarded secrets in the plot........ and what happens to Kainat..

lovely to hear from you Arshian, catch you next Thursday.. with any improved ratings for SPM..

love hammie
