Rushed ending

I'll reserve my comments on pooja Kabir until it actually happens because more than an event, a story that leads to that event matters.

N similarly, I m not happy with the way they have ended this track. It was too rushed. What janhvi did today, she could have done it anytime before. There was nothing that triggered her to do this today or there was nothing that stopped her from doing it all this while. They didn't show us any plan as such, she didn't have any specific plan about when she wants to burn pk alive. She was just behind throwing Kavya out because she was interupting her mission n now she directly kills pk. There's no link. Did I miss anything?

Similarly for KK. I didn't expect Kabir n Kavya to leave eachother n end their husband wife relationship this easily. I expected Kabir to say that whatever had to happen has happened, but no matter what, now I m Ur husband, we have mutually got into this relationship n now we have to make it work. Arush is our responsibility n we have to do it together. I expected Kavya to understand that though Kabir is not distrusting her, he can't even distrust his Bhabhi easily. She should have refused to go along with her ex in laws instantly n been with Kabir, after all those in laws humiliated her the last night n she knows Mittal family is in danger including her friend Kabir, if not husband. I really can't believe the Kavya who used to be so grateful to Kabir for all that he has done for her is now leaving him without a second thought. Well, she doesn't need to be with Mittal family that humiliated her but she could have stayed with Kabir, he was ready to leave his family for her, though she believed none in the family is bad except jhanvi.

So everything looked so rushed n a desperate measure to revamp the show.

But within the limitations, thanks to SP interference, the writers have done a good job.

I think first with Manohar, then Kavya and finally PK and the cameras, Jahnvi guessed that things are going against her.

Even if she proved Kavya as Pooja, Kabir will get her back and her plans would fail.

That's why she took instant measure.

I think PK Jahnvi scene is relevant here. PK was going to read the papers but because of triple trouble of his dad, his son and Kavya, he did not. And Jahnvi worked for years to gain his trust so that PK will sign the papers without checking in a troubled situation like this.

As for Yabir, I liked their scenes yesterday and today. But it's personal choice, because it's a very subjective scene of whether we support Kavya's motivation or not. I felt she took right decision for her son.

Though it is rushed for Revamp but logical .. I felt writing is much better and interesting ..

Agreed. Though the ending was rushed there was a logic to it. Kabir will start investigating who Pooja Sharma is now that Kavya was accused and thrown out of the house. Jhanvi doesn't have much time to drag. She needs to complete whatever it is before Kabir senses it and that is why Jhanvi took the decision that she did.

The new writers seems to be good. Hope they make the next as interesting and logical.

Coming to the current situation, everything is super-rushed but we know they have to revamp ASAP & considering everything, the writers have done pretty good job.

I think the basic idea was to show how Janhvi will slowly and steadily make PK's life a living hell. And the show started on that note only. Within one year, she made Suman mad & her next masterstroke would be a rift between PK & Kabir once she got to know about Vyom-Kavya-Kabir.

But with the super-rushed revamp, Jahnvi's revenge also got on fast track.

Kabir practically hasn't done anything solid till now. So I wouldn't comment about him.

As for Kavya, I think her decision was justified considering the situation she is in. She was strong, it was evident from her encounter with Ishani in the 3rd episode itself.

But everyone she had trusted, had let her down one way or another. First Vyom, then Kabir & the last one is her Janhvi bhabi whom she trusted with even Arush.

Now any sane person would break down after so many betrayal. I do think she had given her best to fulfill her duty as Kabir's wife. But as she said, PK's allegations were the final nail in the coffin that she would never be accepted & at that point even Arush started to get affected. Then the Pooja Sharma fiasco. Even though Vyom's parents don't like her, she knows Arush wouldn't be traumatized every moment seeing her mother getting insulted for every single reason. Plus she did warn Kabir as a friend or whatever. But frankly, Mittals have completely destroyed her from within so she couldn't muster the courage to join them unlike typical ITV FLs.

She could warn him, give him best wishes but she no longer has any reason or strength to endure the unnecessary pain. So she decided to leave.

As for Kabir, even if he wants to accompany her, he still needed to protect his own family. So there wasn't any middle way. And the awkward dost ya jeevansathi equation would make it more difficult for both of them to focus on their main responsibility.

So it was in a way good for KK to part as friends.

I guess it's the most reasonable ending they could have given to Kavya's character without making her a typical FL and it will always keep a door open for them to unite.

Even if not as spouse, then as friends.

It's no secret that Kabir loves Arush dearly and vice-versa. Once this whole mess is cleared, may be Kabir can find peace in the kid's inocence. May be that can reintroduce KK's story together as two broken souls who would ultimately heal each other.

So I think this one particular angle is in fact written with some reality and depth.

@bold: I liked this part the most. Without being all self-sacrificing, she actually thought like a good and protective mother, and frankly a refreshing change from ITV positive fls who try to handle all things at once, and become a superhero. I wish they had written her like this consistently.

Its nice that no one is invincible in this serial. Everyone: PK, Jahnvi, Kabir, make mistakes, and react to them like their characterization.

I felt the last two episodes were yabir's best written scenes. Mature and relatable.

Though the ending was rushed yabir scenes for the past two days was very sensible. Very good conversations between kabir-kavya and her inlaws were giving space to Kavya to take a call.

I must say Tanvi delivered a matured performance. Hope they had taken the same route from the beginning. Aaj yeah din dekne toh Nehi milega.

Don't know what went wrong either the concept,the writing or the timeslot. Don't know which one to blame.

At 7 pm slot it is very difficult to pull the working people.

We can never know for sure what went wrong. But I guess a lot of factors played roles here.

Those of us who are fans of particular actors, we keep tab on their interviews and know which one is being used for promotion or not. We have had long debates here in the forum itself.

But average TRP people who would switch on the TV, they would only watch what seems interesting to them.

Yes, online viewers' opinion doesn't matter in TRP race. But it sure does put some pressure on the makers. Shrenu fans were praising her, Zain fans were upset big time and the whole Kabir-Kavya-Vyom and Manohar Tracks were highly criticized. Plus SP being SP interfered way too early. So I guess even the makers couldn't decide what to do and kept flipping between romance/bahu v/s bahu. Now that they have finally revamped, I hope they stick to one idea.

As for acting, till now, I praise Shrenu the most followed by Tanvi. Considering her age and experience in this field, she has done a great job. My only regret is I won't get to watch Kavya anymore as the character started growing on me.
