Kangana Ranaut is a woman who doesn't need anyone's support. Be it directing her own film or producing it without anyone's support, Kangana is a lone survivor. According to recent reports, Kangana's film Manikarnika has been selected for the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, which happens to be Asia's largest film event.

After hearing the news of Manikarnika's suggestion, Kangana Ranaut gave her piece of mind and apart from expressing her happiness, she also took a dig at Movie Mafia 'Karan Johar'. Talking about the film's selection in the global film festival, Kangana said,

“We are thrilled with this development, especially when Gully Boy was hailed by the entire industry and there was not a single word by anyone on Manikarnika. The movie mafia tried to kill this film but for Manikarnika to get commercial success and now international recognition along with other celebrated films is a big slap on movie mafia’s face. You can't stop a good film especially in this time and age when the world is all one big family because of social media."

Manikarnika had to face several roadblocks but Kangana being a real-life warrior that she is, went on to releasing the film and it turned out to be one the highest grossing films.

Apart from Manikarnika, Alia Bhatt-Ranveer Singh starrer Gully Boy, Ayushmann Khurrana-Tabu's AndhaDhun will also be screened at the festival. Currently, Ranaut has taken a small break and enjoying some quality time with her family in Himachal Pradesh.

What takes away from Kangana is the fact she elevates herself by trying to downgrade others. This proves the level of insecurity she possesses. The day she stops this, start being grateful, maybe people will start taking her seriously.

She is not speaking bad about GB, all she said is that the movie mafia unanimously praised one movie and ignored another. Yes she was pissed at being compared with Alias performance in GB.

But still being picked for the festival is a big achievement for the movie esp when it succeeded against all odds.

What odds pray tell? It got free run at the BO. It got thousands of screens. If odds means not being praised by the so called "movie mafia" thats what she calls them na?! Why is it even important for her? Why does her day begin and end with seeking validation from a group which she calls mafia as an insult? They hyped their friends' movie. Clearly Kangana is not among the people they like nor they are the people kangana like toh unki validation na hona odd kyun hain?

Movies being chosen to be screen at festivals mean nothing... even mohenjodaro was selected to be screen at a European movie festival
