Ugh!! All this drama and at the end the two people who had absolutely nothing to do with any of this (Sid and Parineeti) will be affected the worst.
Isn't Sid's other movie suppose to come out in October? Not a big gap between releases.

Yes, Marjavaan is slated for October 2nd release. Ironically that one is clashing with that Hrithik/Tiger movie. Yes at this point a two months break which is not unheard of but not the best case scenario either.
pre-pone it , postpone it, release it the same day. In the end, the verdict lies with the audience.
whats the use of fighting over release dates????
Does release date make a difference?? I want to know from anyone who knows movie business, does it ? and its a genuine question.
I understand if you want to release it on a long weekend or a holiday but what about regular weekends, does it matter?

Wish someone could preach this to Ekta and Ranaut who have come down to spreading lies about the other movie from being postponed anyway to Ekta striking a deal with her some childhood friend- all for a stupid release date...!😔
Clashes used to matter. There used to be an industry courtesy, when someone called a date, others would wait and that way it helped everyone to have a solo, something that meant better business, but with so many films, so many options, and Courtesy bless her heart died and was cremated long ago and her ashes spread on the altar of ego. Now it is cut throat and people are no longer happy with getting a hit, they also want to ruin someone else's career. So you see the PR firms sniffing like hounds and trying to find an edge.
At this point a clash is not that important, nor is day of the week or time of the year. Now marketing, placement, exposure etc.. are what counts...and maybe even content, but not always because what the ton likes is always something that blows with the winds.
Ekta IS NOT HR's friend in any shape or form, he is a fool if he considers her one, and he is set with a good supply in the enemy/envious department, so he needs no more.

Absolutely agree on this
