Actor Ssudeep Sahir, who was last seen as the male lead on 'Woh Apna Sa', is all set to make his debut in the mythological genre with 'Paramavatar Shri Krishna'. He will play the grown-up Krishna on the show.
Informs a source, “The show will soon go in for a time leap, and Ssudeep has been finalised to play the grown-up Krishna. He will also play a much younger Krishna, who kills Kansa, before beginning the Dwarka track. We wanted someone who could pull off a younger Krishna briefly for the Kansa track. Ssudeep fits the bill, as he can play both the stages.” The actor remained unavailable for comment.
Apparently, the original plan was to take the leap a few months after the show launched, but it was postponed indefinitely. Child artiste Nirnay Samadhiya, who joined the show at the age of four, has been playing the part since two years.
Ssudeep and producer Nissar Parvej remained didn't respond to our calls and text messages.
