For all Marvel fans, there can never be a film like Avengers: Endgame. It wasn’t just a movie, but an emotion.

In a bizarre comparison, actor Aditya Seal compared his film Student Of The Year 2 with Avengers: Endgame and slammed the fans who were trolling the movie. This, of course, had sent shock-waves across the movie buffs.

He had said that people who didn’t like Student Of The Year 2 but loved Avengers: Endgame were being hypocritical.

“Not in a film or in the  trailer you will find us saying that it’s a true story, these are the people who would watch Avengers and say 'arey wahh kya film tha yaar, is that real? No, it’s not'. They are taking you into the world which is unreal but you still want to be an Iron man or Thor, don’t you?,” he had told us in an interview.

The point is not about both movies being based in make-believe worlds. 2/3....which other scientists n physicists hv been researching hence the story script looks more believable n acceptable. Close to reality. It is no longer a fantasy world. Whereas SOTY holds a story, which is not possible in a nation whr education is so fantastically balanced..

@AdityaSeal_ It's okay to support a movie hated and trolled by masses. But comparing the audience reactions to world's most loved and highest grossing movies is a sick move. No person in his/her right state of mind would even think of talking about SOTY2 and Avengers together.

For the unversed, Aditya Seal has been a part of several movies in the past that include -- Ek Chhoti si Love Story, Purani Jeans, Tum Bin II and Namaste England among others. At the age of 14, he was seen in Ek Chhotisi Love Story, which also starred Manisha Koirala and Ranvir Shorey. Meanwhile, SOTY 2 is getting trolled left, right and centre but it has still made Rs 49 crore.

Lost his marbles or what. Not every BW film his REALITY, neither Bajnrangi bhaijan was, Faltu nor  Three Idiots. But Ppl loved it. Cuz the script had materials rather than just jumping around, changing partners like your clothes n wearing shortest dresses n roaming around college premises the whole three hour. An entertaining movie is just not it. Stop blaming the audience for not liking your sh** movie. R these ppl on weed y do they always blame the fans for not liking their weird movies.

Most of the movies are unrealistic. Critical and commercial successes depend upon several other factors. Shit of the Year 2 shouldn't have existed. Period.

🤣 For once I dont mind him getting trolled for this statement. I dont put HW movies and stars in pedestals and all that, but even a kid would know why Marvel has so many fans and why 80% of the world won’t knw shit about what SOTY2 is. I would have reacted the same had he compared his shitty shotty with Mr.India or Sholay too. Did he really lose his brain ?

He didn't compare Soty2 with Avengers. He is criticising about the mindset of troller's & movie goers speaking about real vs reel. I don't see any harm in his statement.
