Dissapointed by elder Chandragupta

Today elder chndragupta made an entry 

All younger people made a great act and so did Dhananand

Sthool badhr, chandra etc acted brillant as kids

But the new Chandragupat does not look like warrior 

As kids its ok if he cannot match up to Dhananand and Ambhi raj and Seleucus 

But as a adult this guy does not fit a warrior role at all 

His dialogue delivery is bad - his voice modulation worse 

He cannot match up to Dhananands charisma and acting and dialogue etc 

They should have taken actor who suit warrior role 

Its like padmavaat movie - shahid kapoor does not match ratan singh character so villan khilji got more praise 

Now again same thing shall happen dhananand has more much much more charisma and suit warrior role 

Even younger chandragupta could not really match to dhananand but yet hes kid so ok

But chandragupta should have more charisma and look like warrior to match to dhananand and his voice should send shiver down ppls heart especially in battle field 

Casting ppl should think of role before choosing someone 

I have nothing against new actor - i have no idea who it is? But he does not suit warrior role either personality wise or height wise or even voice 

The elder chandragupta may suit to play teenager chandra but not adult chandragupta maurya 

I am sorry that i told this first day without seeing more episodes may be he will improve 

But he cannot match charisma of dhahanand 

Chandra gupta must be someone that has so much charisma that forget dhananand even seleucus and ambhi raj should not be able to match or stand up to him

When kid chandra was fighting dhananand and seleucus in war it was not believable but fine he was kid part

I agree with you there. my pet peeve is his voice. gosh, the younger version aka had a better voice and style. and as for the actor, it's Faisal Khan, who played the younger Maharana Pratap. I had a high expectation of him, but so far he had been a disappointment.

Going to be a devil's advocate here - Judging by Faisal's performance in Maharana Pratap, he seems to build his skills and his screen presence over time.  In my opinion, it is difficult for older actors to replace "child" actors who have a significant on-screen presence pre-leap.

Also, Dhananand is supposed to be an adult (probably well in his 40's), whereas Chandragupt is supposed to be a 20-21 year old.  Picking an older actor with a similar physical presence on the screen as Dhananad, Selucus, or Ambiraj might "glorify" the abilities of a 20 year old a little too much.

Since it has only been a handful of episodes, I am willing to give Faisal a little more time prior to judging his acting skills in this show.

I agree chandragupta is a young 21 year old

But hes a warrior and hence his body structure must match a warrior 

In those times warriors were 7-8 feet 9 feet that was BC (if you read historical books) 

By 21 years all people reach their max built so Dhanannad being 40 does not make any difference 

 My only grouse is Chandragupta was an warrior and i wanted a person whose physical personality matched that 

Also his voice is soft fit for romantic roles not that of a warrior 

That is all i meant 

I have no issues with acting aspect

I have been watching CGM from the first episode and after the leap I'm watching for Faisal. I also felt his voice to be very soft compared to Kartikey. Anyway, I have no issues. Maybe after a few more episodes his voice and acting would improve. My question is how come Ambiraj is still alive. I was watching Porus and Ambiraj was killed in the show. So, from where did he come from?

Like that Ambhi is called Ambhi Raj 

Any king of the state Ambhi can be adressed as Ambhi Raj 

Its an official title or name kind of thing 

Like all magadh kings can be called Magadh naresh or Magadh Raj 

Senior Ambhi raj was Porus mother Anusuyas elder brother 

Junior Ambhi Kumar(now Ambhi raj) was cousin of Porus 

Senior and Junior Ambhi raj  joined with Alexander to defear Porus 

Now Ambhi Kumar has become king so called Ambi raj

Like mughal emperors were called Shahenshah e hind its a title or designation 

Like in future chandragupta, bindusar, ashoka will be called Bharat ke Samrat
