idk I think Puckhi is doing it for the better of the baby because she doesn't want the baby to grow up without love and parents and no name which I think is good

Ideally the child's betterment is being away from that evil family. Ridoy and shan are both examples of how majumdar's only ruin their children rather than love them. The only thing majumdar's can provide is money, education and shelter to their children. That's all!
