Love and Destiny (2019)

A love story between the God of War and a young maiden whose very existence can bring harm to the world.

Ten thousand years ago, Jiu Chen (Chang Chen), known as the god of war, fell into a deep slumber after sealing away the demon lord. Ling Xi (Ni Ni) accidentally wakes him from his sleep and they fall in love. It is discovered that Ling Xi was born with an evil miasma that can help the demon lord break free and allow the demon tribe to rise to power. 

Jiu Chen refuses to kill an innocent and tries to change Ling Xi's fate. Through the encouragement of Jiu Chen, Ling Xi who was once innocent and naive transforms into a brave leader in a fight against evil.

Not yet..They will announce it all of a sudden like 1 week or two days before..Must be this year tho!!! 

So the hero Chen Chang is a big star..This is his first drama..Now no wonder they cast him..

So this is essentially Mo Yuan's story

How I wish it had been Mark Chao playing this character, it'd have been easier to follow (atleast for me) but it seems like the guy is a huge star so it'll be received well there

Chalo atleast we'll have the satisfaction that Mo Yuan too gets his story after all

It was him I felt bad for the most in the end in Ten Miles..also can anything be done for 16th? 😒 

OMG OMG OMG!! I didn't realise we have a thread for Love and Destiny. It's good to see you people around! 

Btw, can I just say that I'm so so so disappointed that they changed the name from MoYuan to JiuChen. Why didn't they just stick with the character's name as MoYuan? And bring Mark Chao and Yang Mi back? Ughh!! This is annoying!

Yes, this is essentially MoYuan story Ashum ji. It's based from the story 三生三世菩提劫 Three lives, three worlds, bodhi trials. Did you read the novel too? 

Yeah, I also hoped that it was MoYuan and it was Mark Chao. Maybe, Mark Chao was busy and Mark Chao was always more focused on movies than TV serials. Also, this guy is not as good looking as Mark Chao. 

16th doesn't get to get a book. However, the guy who played 16th will be on Pillow's book as another person ChiYan as per rumour.
