In Wednesday's episode, Sai reminded us that God is not just present in the idols in the temple but in a child's smile, in nature, everywhere around us. A stark reminder for everyone who will do prayers before the idol but ignore the sufferings of those around us. What makes us think that we can only find God in temples or mosques or churches? Doesn't every religion teach us that God is everywhere?
A few years ago I remember women fighting over space during Navratri Aarti, they didn't want to do Aarti behind someone, they wanted to get close to the idol. It would have made no difference if she just prayed with a good heart and not stressed everyone out with her selfishness but some people don't realise that.
