I don't quite get it. Sikander has promised Amayra he will not bring Kulfi back home, he has not promised that he will not acknowledge he is not Kulfi's father. So why on earth does he hesitate to tell Mia that he is Kulfi's dad? Why doesn't Lovely tell the crowd that she sent Kulfi to the remand home? Doesn't one need to have committed a misdeed and have a judge or delinquency court for adolescents send a child to such a remand home? Knowing there is no such leading event for Kulfi's being placed in the remand home, shouldn't she be automatically freed?
What was that nonsense about Sikander thinking or saying to himself that all bad things would have to cross him before it reaches his daughter and that he will stand like a shield between her and her misfortune?? That was laughable. He hasn't done a thing and isn't able to stop his evil, wicked, monstrous, malicious, miscreant of an adopted daughter from getting Kulfi electrocuted. I want Amayra to be disqualified from the competition. Art is a reflection of life and if the soaps want to carry a moral and try to influence the audience while entertaining (if torture of a small child can be called entertainment!!), the writers should get Amayra disqualified. That way it will arm her with more hatred for Kulfi but at least justice will be served temporarily and show the soap watchers that underhand, sneaky, malicious methods do not work or are NOT meant to work in society.
It will be disillusioning if Lovely doesn't come forward or the brain dead dad at least doesn't acknowledge that his wife sent his child to the remand home and that Kulfi is his rightful daughter whom he cannot bring home as his youngest (brat) daughter has a health issue which prevents the two girls from being together. If the track of Kulfi losing her voice gets her disqualified in the round, someone on the set, fingers crossed should have noticed that brat Amayra had fiddled with the mike and have her disqualified as well. Or please let divine intervention let Amayra have one of those ever ready opportune attacks on stage and let her not be able to sing. Nemesis, where art thou?

This is a great post. You have hit the nail on the head by pointing out all the incongruencies.

There is no excuse for the behavior of the characters in the serial. Sick-a still looks to Lovely to lead. He has a dysfunctional and pathological relationship with Amyra and Lovely.  Bebe Mahinder and Gunjan act like children, whereas Kulfi and Amyra act like adults. Kulfi is like a sacrificing serial heroine, putting herself last, while Amyra is like the villain, putting herself first and destroying anyone that might stand in her way.

Sicka made the promise that he would not look for Kulfi. Now the sick child wants him to promise that he will not help Kulfi ever in any way. However Lovely intervened and promised that she would not help Kulfi, supposedly leaving Sikca free to help her.

Sicka should not need Lovely's permission to help his daughter. As you pointed out, how can he say that he is a shield for every danger Kulfi faces, when he has not lifted a finger to do anything for her --to give her his name. Further, he put her in harm's way by scolding her and disowning her when she had returned to him with so much hope, alone, vulnerable, and needing help.

Now this voice-loss track. Another sick track. How can a supposedly dying child have so much time, mental space, and the conniving to plot another's demise? I too hope that the tape is rolling when she does this and that there is enough evidence to disqualify Amyra, if not send her to the Bal Sudhar Ghar for counseling and for juvenile criminal behavior.

aimf, thank you. And agree that tris voice loss track is going to be another knuckle knocker for the audience.
Sikandar totally shocks me on a daily basis. What a man, what a dad and what a coward!
