The epsiode begins with Meenu playing the sitar . She smiles cunningly seeing the police cars from the window.
The commissioner asks a help whether Mr. Maheshwari is inside .
Mishti tells abir that's she wants to talk to him . He tells her that the washroom was there . She tells him that she seriously wants to talk to him . He asks her what did she want to talk to him about . She tells him that he was her only friend in the house and smiles . He asks friends , to which she replies aren't they friends . After a small pause , he says yes we are .
To which she simply smiles .
She turns around and sees the police officers , seeing her looking elsewhere , he turns around and notices the police officers .
Meenu looks at the earrings in her hand .
Nana ji goes forward to ask why they are here , to which Meenu replies that she called them . She tells them that she called the commissioner to bless kekti and won't they all welcome her .
Everyone welcomes him and abir jokingly adds that he had increased their BP also by coming .
The officer says that he has come here to do his duty , to meet and. Vishambhar Maheshwari .
To salvage the situation , abir goes to say since it's between the two , they should discuss it privately .
Meenu agrees reluctantly .
The commissioner further asks whether Kuhu and mishti are here .
Everyone is stunned and Rajeshwari asks why does he want to know about their daughters .
The commissioner says he is just asking whether they are there .
In reply , mishti and Kuhu make their presence known.
Trying to add fuel to the fire , Meenu innocently asks why does he want to know that and abir hurriedly asks Kaushal to take them inside .
Vishambar asks mishti to come inside .
Abir and mishti share an eye lock and just as she is going inside , her duppata sticks to his band gala , she turns around and seeing the worry in her eyes , he assures her with his eyes .
When mishti goes a few steps ahead , she turns around to look at abir and he again reassures her with a blink of his eyes , to which she simply nods and goes inside .
Meenu asks Atul and kekti to make everyone eat dinner . Meenu continues her little act by asking Ms . Parekh what could be the reason for the commissioners visit . Miss . Parekh simply says that they are from a reputed family and there must be some misunderstanding , Nidhi asks if they were from such a good family why would the commissioner come .
Meenu says she doesn't need to worry as when she will get to know the reason , she will let her know . She further adds that the commissioner is a good friend of nana ji and he can also talk to him about it and asks her father whether she was right or not .
To which nana ji simply nods .
She asks Nidhi to take her for dinner .
Shaurya asks them what had Kuhu and mishti done , the commissioner tells them that there was a complaint for influencing a girl from a reputed family to run away from her engagement . Everyone is shocked .
Kuhu whispers kekti .
Vishambar asks does he have any proof to what he says , to which the officer shows them photographs from the Kutch fest .
Mishti and Kuhu start defending themselves and the officer days since they have accepted that they are involved in the case , they are under arrest .
The family repeatedly asks them who the girl was .
The officer takes the girls away and Kuhu tells them to ask kekti .
Kaushal asks them not to do so as his daughters sangeet is going on below .
Meenakshi reveals to Parul that it was her who had filed the complaint , her thinking she says might be thought to be old fashioned , but she doesn't care , she only cares about her family . She is a mother to her sons and whatever she does for her family is good . The girls might be good but not for this family . She needs a daughter in law that she can teach not one that will teach her .
Nidhi asks her what is going on and tells her that she told Mrs. Parekh whatever happens to this alliance will be decided by Meenakshi itself .
Abir listens to all this .
The Maheshwaris insist as it's a matter of their daughters .
Abir enters the room and says that kektis brother will tell the truth . He thanks the sisters and tells them that it was because of them that kekti was safe .
The commissioner asked why did they complain then ,it's revealed that the complain was done by Meenakshi rajvansh .
She enters the scene and says she did the complain but she didn't know then that the girls were Kuhu and mishti .
Later , nana ji thanks the Maheshwaris .
Further , Meenakshi says she apologises but it was a matter of their daughter so she did the complain during the time kekti went missing .
Abir apologises to mishti by tugging his ears .
Jasmeet is seen wondering about the cable guy when the landline rings , abir asks her whether the police came to their house or not .
To which she replies in negative .
He wonders how did the commissioner know that the girls were here .
Later , when the door rings , jasmeet wonders whether it's really the police .
She is happy to realise that it's the family only .
The Maheshwaris question them and Kuhu and mishti tell them the entire story .
Vishambar leaves the scene in a haste .
Meenakshi and the commissioner are seen having a cup of tea where she thanks him for coming and tells him she did it as it was her duty .
Precap :- Meenakshi asks why abir is standing in the dark . He tells her that it's the lies that have to hide .
Kunal asks Meenu whether she called the police .
