Deepika has been friendly with airport staff always and especially with that particular lady who regularly escorts her out. Many old videos of it are around. Same is the case with Veer. That lady knows them both quite well and a few days before the AMA there was a video of Veer having some chat with her while walking out too.
It is nothing new but is being noticed now cause of the Reddit AMA. That particular Reddit AMA did not call them out for their behaviour with airport staff so why will they change it? The AMA only mentioned how they are more self absorbed and not all lovey dovey when in private.
