REGARDING RESPONSE I CAN THINK OF MOHAN BANNA WHEN SAHIB CONFIDED HIS SECRET TO HIM - HIS FIRST RESPONSE WAS ANGER - AT SAHIB AND ALSO AT HEERA. By someone from the front..

The fingers did look a bit weird, now I see your explanation, it make sense. That's why I said the hand/fingers might be from the third person.
