I don't understand what relation Pathan shares with Puchki. As far as I remember Puchki's father sold her mother to a brothel even before she was born and she had no other blood relatives except her mother

I quit watching the show after they decided to delay the leap forever so can somebody enlighten me who this Pathan actually is?

Pathan was a fatherly figure for puchki and shantanu in sonagachi ..if you wud have seen starting scenes of kid.. puchki used to call him Chota bheem.. and he used to always adore and take care of both kids.. I think he was hired by thaku maa in sonagachi..
