LOL. He didn't want to do Romil's task, he was also peed off that Dipika fulfilled Romil's task (when he didn't want her to) so Gauahar's task suggestion was a way out for him.
Truth is, he is a mahoosive selfish person who doesn't know the t of team or thinking about others in tasks. It's why from the beginning of the season he's been a liability whichever team he's been on. Today, he didn't think about how good Dipika could look, he selfishly wanted to quit so that's what he did.
Dipika is the most stupidest person in the house to have formed a bond with this guy. I'd rather be no one's priority than be in the company of such a selfish brat.
