Loved hearing Pankaj , Vicky and Ayush ...
Pankaj ...oh ho ... Madhhur Vaani he is ... he has so much to share , so simple relatable stuff ...

Raj looked more like Boasting... dont know felt like He is showing off .. though he responses were brilliant .

The weird part was Rajkumar answering that question about whether he has spoken about acting to his fellow co stars on a film set and he didn't say anything about Ayushman and Pankaj sitting right there who he has worked with and then inserted the point that others also have to be interested in speaking ...that was very weird imo.

Ranveer unabashedly praised several performances by the other actors and even knew their movies. I found him very sweet, as acknowledged by RKR himself, as well as unreserved. It doesnt take much to see him in the video and tell that - this guy is just saying and doing what he has on his heart and mind. The lack of artifice is something extremely refreshing to my jaded eye and perhaps thats why I always end up appreciating as well as envying his nature. Maybe others find it off-putting but I admire his lack of opacity. Only if I could be as open and unapologetic about it as he is about himself, that would be a great kind of personal freedom.
Anyways, everyone spoke really well. Such discussions really make a aam aadmi like me realize that "acting" is only 10% of the job of an actor and there is a hell lot of work and sacrifice and even psychological trauma at times that they take on to fulfill a job. Kudos to them all. ๐Ÿ‘

Art, me thinks, is as much sweat, blood and tears, as it is poetry and beauty.

Another think...I can bet at least a 100 bucks that Ranveer would have jumped his new found philosophical Yogic colleague after that shoot for a one on one chat. He relates to such kind of spirituality. It reminded me of his chat with one Sadhuguru. That was another gem of a conversation.

Good chat by all. All the best to them. May they all be the flagbearers of a better Bollywood and may they all give me several movies to watch for many many years.

For lack of better term

He was the most famous at that table ๐Ÿ˜†

The way Ranveer praises others is what gets me all the time! Love his spirit

Was it just me ... or was Rajkumar a bit arrogant ? Felt an undercurrent of overconfidence and arrogance

@bold: Its amazing how that was the point which used to annoy me about him but over the time I started admiring him for exactly that...It take a high self-image and a great amount of self-confidence to be so unabashed about oneself...๐Ÿ‘

yes , even I found that odd ...infact ayushman has been very positive towards Raj even during BKB Promotions times . But Raj ALWAYS gives this odd negative vibes .
I remember during BKB , someone asked that it was Ayushman who suggested Raj for Vidrohi character , but darn how cold was Raj in that response ...as if not a big deal .

and then there was Pankaj , with whom Raj has donw max of his films even no comment on him , Strange .

It is his this Attitude , that makes not to root for him !!! .

Finally finished watching it...I will take back whatever I said about Ranveer being distracting and all...After I watched the IV fully, I totally fell in love with the way he was so forthcoming with each and every participant there and trying to encourage each of them to say their bit...Its amazing how he knew each of their movies by heart and was able to recite their dialogs/scenes...Very impressive, I must say...Vicky was generally being very quite/soft spoken and easily being interrupted by the others and I have noticed Ranveer nudging him twice to say his bit and making way for him...
Looks like by the end of it all of them fell in love with him...โค๏ธ

I liked Pankaj but Vicky and Ranveer are my favorites from this roundtable...

I would like to say my POV about RKR probably coming across as standoffish but I think its the tone in which he was talking...I personally found him quite friendly otherwise and gelling in well with the rest of them...

EDIT: Adding to what I said, I loved to see the respect and camaraderie amongst all of them...They were all in such sink with each other...that it was like watching a symphony...

Also forgot applauding Masand for the interesting questions he came up with, which has actually encouraged the actors to come up with their best! Never have I enjoyed an actor's roundtable to this extent!

I especially enjoyed the responses to the 'biopic' wala question...I really can't wait to see them play their dream characters soon...
