The movie is about Jhansi so obviously its going to be the character of Jhansi prominent in the trailer.
Atleast in this one, we also see other cast like Danny, Suresh Oberoi, Atul Kulkarni, Ankita, Kulbushan.

Many movie esp BIg star ones, take the simmba trailer, it was through and through Ranveer with Sara a couple of times

Does anyone know the supporting cast of Simmba

The reaction of the trailer seems positive from every nook and corner. Hope the movie lives up to the expectation

Lakshmibai even jumped from the wall of the fort with her horse .. the height is HUGE

such actions are very much needed when you make biopics of warriors like Lakshmibai and Maharana pratap

This is a well known myth which has been dicussed and debated for ages by historians and researchers. Many historians have debunked the theory as well on the basis of the journal of Vishnu Godse who was at Jhansi during Lakshmibai's reign and escape. It is said that the wall leads to a slope and it's humanly impossible for a human or an animal to survive if they jump from the wall. Add to that, the myth also adds her adopted son as part of the trio who jumped facross the wall. Same goes about the myth of her going to the battlefield with her adopted son on her back. The only thing that finds mention is her escaping the fort with her son tied to her back.

This is what happens when our freedom fighters are not presented as humans but as larger than life characters, thanks to storytellers, illustrations and guides roaming around forts adding tadka for the tourists. And our Bollywood period films are pretty much doing the same!

Jisko jo manna hai vo man sakta hai ,,,,😊
but its a well known fact that she did jumped from the wall and her kid was tied on her back during the fight with Looter firangis who looted us inside out 😡

na manne ko to kuch historians ne har kisi history ke har ek chapter ko debunk kardia hai ... but not all historians are same ... many are in support of those chapters as well

now it's individual's choice ki kiske sath jaana hai ... noone can help 😳

Yes, it's about individual choice, which is completely different from individual beliefs being passed off as 'ultimate facts'.😊 Agar jisko jo manna hai woh man sakta hai, then how is it a well known fact? 😆

Good : Finally a decent movie on Rani Laxmi bai in our times. Kangana's voice modulation though sounds fake is better than her original voice. Atleast its clear and she has worked hard to enunciate words, usually she mumbles most of her dialogues. Maybe someone or Rangoli dubbed for her? Looks grand and better than the teaser.

Bad: Kangana's over exaggerated expressions during the fighting scenes. Just edit all the scenes together and its a same OTT expression. Not sure why didn't use a child actor for tween/teen years before she got married. Kangana looks too old for that phase of Rani Laxmi.

Kangana just does not have the dialogue delivery or voice modulation to play a warrior/queen. A lot of actors don't. Just compare this to say a Ramya Krishnan in Bahubali. That woman was born to play such authoritative characters. The OTT action sequences make it worse.

Trade is positive about the movie which lacked in her recent releases... Himesh, Rohit, Sumit and even KRKBoxOffice (KRK retweeted 😆) said positive things.

Har Har Mahadev!
