Salman might be a criminal but his popular image is Being Human. Average people are not sitting at home and doing research.

He's not exactly intelligent or witty but he does have charisma. He also does stupid things that are actually really entertaining. Like his loony tweets about ants playing hockey and ah ooh eeh eyyy and tweeting about the earth being round and flat like a roti. He is funny and enjoyable if you like his type of dumb humor. 😆

His fans mostly may be in 40s and 30s. Not only him, I think not any teenager would drool over Khans now.

Still they may have the respect and love from people and their old fans. Why would teenagers dream about people from their parent's age.

Happen to everyone.

Now youngsters have RK, RS, Varun etc.. Thats life. LOL

Speaking for myself, I like SRK's charm, wit and humility. I agree that he is not the best in the looks department though. But looks isn't everything IMO.

I don't see anyone drooling over the younger guys either. There might be some fangirls here and there but nothing close to the kind of rage that used to surround SRK and Salman when they were younger.

You can have a fandom without it. Amitabh is getting hit movies such as 102 Not Out when he's like 80 years old. Who is drooling over him? They just like his acting. Salman's male fans enjoy his masala avatar and copy him riding motorcycles and wear his Being Human shirts. They like his package movies - action, masala, comedy, hot girls. Drooling is not part of it.

Girls don't care that much about looks alone or else Siddharth Malhotra would be the no.1 star. Hrithik wouldn't have become a has-been if looks mattered that much.

No one that I know of is drooling over him. Not girls, definitely not. Older women in his age range are not either. My mom prefers Salman haha. And since SRK is the age of my uncle, I don't drool over him, yuck!

No. I do love him as an actor and human. But I don't drool over him neither anyone else. I have rarely did it. Mostly I love the characters so then I find them attractive and forget them once the show or movie is over. But that happens very few times.

I actually don't get how fans even drool over male actors. Sometimes I am thinking are they really being real to drool such extent and think what if they are faking it because that's what other fans are doing so they are joining in? Especially when they say their overies want to come out or something?? 😕
