@ramisa the real problem started with trp system which was sample. Itv wanted to cover small towns and rural. Instead of uplifting those masses out of their blind beliefs they created stories that reinforces their belief. Kdramas played the major role as that generation resonated with abla nari. Also on one hand people were getting insecure of liberalization and its aftermath. These shows provided a false illusions of culture for a generation. The ideal bahu they didn't get they saw in those shows 😆😆. But in between something good to came. Every one say ek doesn't influence things. She was not associated with SP for quite sometime. Believe it or not SP had the best shows that ruled trp chart at that time.DABH,veera,SC,ek hazaroein mein,pyar ka dard, ek ghar banauga each dealt with a theme and stories were good. Then YHM came Dec end 2013. After that many shows ended. Whatever remained was butchered both DABH and veera and YHM took all limelight. Her displeasure with DABH was well known the soap that didn't allow her JA to top the charts. DABH was killed the worst way I still rue it. SP experimented with 3 month shows nothing worked. It was YHM and then some typical shows that survived. Same thing happened in Sony. She was not there when beyhadh,kuch rang,ek duje ke vaaste,edt, ye un dinon ki started. She came to Sony but i strongly feel she was not allowed to take limelight from un dinon ki hence dil hi tho hai ended. Incidentally PH of DABH and un dinon ki are same. Sony still has good shows. Patiyala babes and ladies special. If anyone want me to believe all this coincidence sorry I can't neither can I ignore HC didn't get a jury nomination when certain someone was there. And if HC is this outspoken then somewhere he has stepped on the wrong foot. So itv has certain powerhouses and until something drastic topples them we will get nonsense after nonsense.
