Mahir mentioned about it in their kitchen scene after wedding, remember? Vish-Bela were there and he said people were talking about Ichaadari naag and naagin in haveli... n he doesn't believe in all that?!!

So he KNOWS of that myth.

Moreover, he has experienced lot of "magics and illusions" ever since Bela entered his life. Specially in the last 2-3 days he saw TOO much of all these... It was easy for him to connect the dots.

Oh oh i get it. She gave him something due to which Sumi's poison did not effect but as a side effect memory chali gayi...i sound riddiculous making all these theoriesKya yaar i didnot want Mahir ji to lose his memory
