As men get older, their perspectives on femininity can change.. there's something about Alia he finds very attractive that made him call her an ethereal beauty, some may find her plain but that's his preference.

Just because they get older doesn't mean they slowly go blind as well 😆 regardless, he can find her pretty or whatever, but MOST ethereal beauty?? Out of everyone?? He knows himself that is impossible, when you have Ash in the same industry 😆 not to mention the countless other beautiful models + actresses around the world. Say, for example, Kendall Jenner is 100x better looking than Alia, and that's just an objective observation of their face symmetries.

Lastly, he can have whatever preference he wants, nobody is holding a gun to his head...but I also have the right to think he's full of shit and his preference is bs 😆
