Shevanta did try to entice Anna despite being disfigured. But Anna did not accept any of her advances . That is where shevanta realized that Anna is only after bodily lust. And rightly so. Anna has been branded as a amorous loose character . Hence Shevanta s stand of rejecting Anna seems justified and in place. Patankar wanting a child seems only a pointer by the director to show the bonding and love between the two getting stronger . I don't think ,as per first part ,they beget any child and Patankar gets killed in all probability before that.
That's a mystery. Coz there is no mention of vacchhi and her family in first part. Natural death seems improbable as that won't gel well with the flow of the story. But yes she might either live on or leave the village along with her husband .Originally posted by: mishkil88
