"THIS IS NOT FUNNY "said Radha angrily to her lover who was laughing at her. He just hit her pot which she was carrying on her head,with pebble . It was evening and she was there to fetch water from Yamuna but Krishna broke her pot full of water from behind. Her beautiful face became red because of anger and embarrassment of her wet clothes.
"I never miss my aim you see" Said Krishna still laughing. His bhuvan mohan smile was enough to drive whole Vrindavan crazy.
"All gopis like your pranks doesn't mean I also find them funny "said Radha angrily. She turned and started walking fast as if she is going to ignore him.
"Radhe... listen said Krishna with sweet voice." He knew his Radhe can not remain mad at him for long time.
After walking few distance she heard sweet melody of flute. She felt attracted towards it as if it was calling her. She ran towards the direction of its voice. Krishna was playing flute, sitting under a tree. Its tune was spreding love in air. Some peacocks and peahens were dancing near him.Birds on the tree were singing on its tune.The sight was divine . Radha sat next to him,placing her head on his shoulder,closed her eyes and lost in the tune of love.
She opened her eyes when she realized that Krishna wasn't playing flute anymore. She looked at him and said ,"why did you stop?"
He smiled and said "I call you here to inform something. "
"is this your way to call me? First you make me angry and then make me helpless by playing flute." she said. There was no anger in her voice anymore. Krishna looked in her eyes. She noticed sadness in those beautiful lotuslike eye.
" Because you look beautiful when you get angry on me. I wanted to see this beauty and wanted to capture in my eyes and heart forever."
"What happened?" She said worringly. He never talked like it before.Krishna told her the reason why Akrurji came to Vrindavan to take him at yagna of Kansa. He told the story of his birth, that he was son of Devki and Vasudev who were waiting for him in prision of Mathura. Hearing his words Radha was shocked and her face covered with sadness by thought of separation from her Kanha.
" Its my duty to go and free my parents,I have to go Radha." said Krishna. Radha broke into tears. Krishna said with teary eyes "I don't think I will be able to come back again. I have to follow my dharma. You come with me Radhe."
"come with you? What will a milkmaid do in palace of Madhura with royal people?" said Radha "you know I can't come Kanha . you already know it's not possible for me to come with you. "she almost sobbed.
"Radhe...listen Radhe. This is not really separation. Do you think we are two instead on one? We are two bodies but one soul.One soul can be separated? " Radha looked at him. He held her shoulders and said looking into her eyes "The Kanha you loved is always going to stay here in Vrindavan. The Krishna going to Mathura will be a warrior and politician,but Kanha of my Radha who plays flute will always remain here in Vrindvan, in heart of every Gopi and Gopals. When you will come to fetch water at Yamuna, I will be your shadow in water.When you will hear sound of wind, it will be me calling your name Radhe. When you will be missing me put your hand at heart and close your eyes,I will be there in Your heart. You will find me in peacock feather, in stars looking at you ."
There was silent for some moment then Radha said" and I will be there in your heart, your guiding force who will guide you to follow your Dharma. I will be there as your strength Kanha" said Radha smiling sadly at him.
"Separation makes love even stronger Radhe. May be Vidhata made us to set example of eternal pure love . Vrindavan will always remain the witness of our love . " He pressed her in tight hug. Tree, birds,wind and water of Yamuna witnessed the seperation of pure eternel lovers,but distance can't seperate hearts and soul of these two. He played flute again. This time it was tune with mixture of divine love amd sadness.
