Just as well you haven't seen them. There were plenty. Some of it quite extreme. People went as far as to say that he deserves no credit for Shivaay and stop praising him for it. He looked good only thanks to SC/Anika no credit to him. Shivika was all SC. And these same people still insist they are Shivika fans along with being SC fans. So Don't even go there.
He was by and large talking about the power and reach of TV.

Did NM say anything new ki it's the same stuff he said at the Aaj tak event last year with Gul as well? Power of TV etc stuff I think I've heard him talk about before also.

If he's so pumped up about his work still, how come it doesn't show onscreen anymore? Or was this event the reason for his excitement? Lol

And Gul is so velli to show up anywhere even with four shows on air? Waah kya producer hai.

Good on his part he didn't speak a word about feminism instead gul did about female empowerment through zoya😆 He seems more excited for whatever he will do after DIB rather then the present. Right now toh from clips he himself looks like a chalti phirti disaster. And not just blank face he quite literally give a very done and dusted annoyed face😆

Tell me about it. I actually went to look for a clip about the event and stumbled upon this nonsense so decided to getaway before the negativity got me down

Oh he is only pumped up about the event. Not about DIB. They asked him how he is enjoying his new look and he totally sidestepped that and didn't answer at all. That says it doesn't it? 😆
Of course Gul was sitting next to him and so he said thank you for jheloing me for 700 episodes episodes as Shivaay and still wanting me to play Shivaansh. So of course sab ab uske upar toot pade hain for that. And again started about how he is not giving credit to SC and hogging all the credit blah blah after conspiring to kick her out. Never mind if he wasn't talking about IB but about television in general. He talked about how at one time he was also enamoured of movies and thought poorly of TV but realised how no one watched his film except his parents but when it came on TV people recognised it him. And how he has now realised that it's important to aspire to be not just an actor on big screen as most people do but to aspire to be a great ACTOR whatever be the medium. That his own journey has made him realise that and the reach of TV. And that most people tend to look down on TV and say oh my mother watches that or my wife watches that and that all of them the people in television need to take responsibility to change that so that TV stops being second class to Bollywood. And how even though they do this for themselves it's primarily for the fans who give them so much love and they touch so many lives through TV. Something like that. Don't remember exactly. And again people started about fake, hypocrite, his real face is that he doesn't value fans, mocks them yada yada. And of course tag him all their nonsense. Aage phir I just stopped reading before I spoilt my mood again.

@AY he didn't talk about any character per se actually mostly spoke about tv being a powerful medium and stuff. Nothing specific about either of characters. He was asked about his new look but he instead gave some other answer only nothing remotely related to his look or character😆 fans ko leke he said a word or two which given the current scenario it just comes across ironic to me LOL😆

Having said that yeah i agree he doesn't deserve to carry the blame it's not his but gul ph&channel's call when it comes to leap. He made a wrong choice for himself one cam conclude i guess.

@AY: I will say the same to the hate groups on both sides. I venerate neither but I can't stand the hate that either of them get. It's so out of proportion and vile and undeserved. Maybe it's just that I am a twitter novice and basically all I see most of the time is people using it as platform to spew venom. It's all so bilious. Not just with NM and SC but be it sports or movies or anything. People don't seem to get the distinction between trolling and hating and bashing. But I guess that's the way it's always going to be on social media because anonymity gives people a free pass. It's my problem to deal with if I let it get to me.

However I will continue to stand by my opinion that he made a bad professional judgement call and decision for which he can be criticised but not demonized or crucified and that he does not deserve to carry the can for the things that Gulneet did just because he is an easy target for people. I equally hate all the body shaming and other bashing that Surbhi gets. People are vile on both sides of this. But I still don't buy into the back-stabbing and conspiracy theories on the basis of current information nor do I agree about him not giving credit to the team or not valuing fans.

I think both are human and pretty alright for being that. Neither is a saint or demon.

I don't like DIB and I want him out of there. And I don't like seeing him sharing a platform with Gul either. But to translate that into saying that he deserves no credit for Shivaay etc. is just irrational hate. If people are at getting at Surbhi because of that then I hate that equally. I talked about NM because that's what I read. I didn't read further because it wasn't worth reading anymore. What I read was bad enough.
